Oh Samsung, why did you make the Galaxy S3 MTP Compliant as opposed to standard USB?
Its taking an age to recopy my manga and music after flashing the phone :(
And even then, if i copy too many at once you just freeze & refuse to acknowledge anything i've copied :/

I have a Galaxy and I don't know how to copy music to it yet. It has a USB cable but all the phone folder names are basically code.

I think you just have to put it in the phone and it'll automatically find the MP3 file and put it in music... or something.

The Galaxy needs an app to add files (If I know correctly) It's not used as a USB mass storage device, but uses MTP through usb!

Samsung "encourage" you to use their awkward "Keis" software in order to transfer files.

I get around it by using Dropbox to share files between my PC and mobile.

Guess it's like Apple saying you must use iTunes to copy songs to your iPods.

No
As you HAVE to use iTunes with i Devices

Samsung doesn't force kies on you thankfully
_______________

Flashed my S3 to Cyanagen Mod 10, Must say, what an improvement over CM9, even though there's a small memory leak, it doesn't plague me much, and a reboot fixes it easily
