Just played a bit of this for the first time. Pretty good so far. Completed the arcade mode a couple of times. I'm still learning it at the mo. I'm just trying to work out how to start a combo then swap characters and carry on with the combo.

You mean in mid-air? That's Aerial Exchange. You do it by pressing the Special button (A on the standard XBox control scheme) and a direction - Up, Down or Side.
Different directions do different things, I forgot the details, though. I remember Down having the most damage but using up your ground bounce and somesuch.

Everybody complain about Capcom way of selling their games, but, in the end, almost all of the complainers buy xD
It was the same in SF2 and SF4, and even disguised in Darkstalkers/Vampire, SF3, Rival, AND EVEN IN THE OLD CROSSOVER series..., all the "Marvel" related games, that ARE sequences but disguised in "all-new games". We can see by those downgrades suffereds by Juggernaut from Marvel Super Heroes to Marvel Vs Capcom 2.

Hm... I can forgive Street Fighter 2. At that time it was really a popular game and Capcom tweaked the engine to make a better version of it.
But at this era, it shouldn´t be an excuse, you can have Super-Hyper-Turbo-"speedofsound" in the same place. And regarding to UMvC3, this new content could have easily made it to the previous release as DLC.

Ultimate MVC3 wouldn't have been too bad, if it was either a DLC package as well, or not releasing this year.
The only reason people are dropping hate on it is because MVC3 only came out in February, and whilst there's a 9 month gap between the two titles, it's not long enough for a completely new game to come out.

You're the only person I've seen complain about it coming out this year. So many amazing games come out in and around November time no one outside of the hardcore fanbase who lap this shit up anyway is gonna care about some crap expansion.

Right, except I'm pretty sure that all the releases of Street Fighter 2 came out at full price.

How many Call of Duties have we had this year? How many NBA? FIFA?
I know the 5 months' hatin' distance between MVC3 and UMVC3, but people don't realize this "update easy cash" in those cases....

We've had exactly 1 of each of those series this year. Try again.

We HAD Black Ops.... but, what about mw3 that will come out november?
And sport games that we ever have one per year?
EVER.
Since mvc2, we had at least 10 sport games for each sport, including competition editions (loympic games and world cups)
I don't care having 2 or 3 editions per gen, since they have greats upgrades, as Blazblue CS 2 had.
