This year, I got:

Goldeneye Wii w/ gold Classic Pro controller
WESC Headphones (listening through them right now, they're really bassy)
Cologne
Another Zippo (Now I have three: silver, blue, and black. The Sonic association was unintentional)
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World DVD
Godfather II DVD (I still haven't seen the first...but I have it)
TOMS shoes
Dockers wallet (Design name was "Hipster Wallet." Goes well with the TOMS.)
Death Note manga, vol. 2 & 3

I will remember this year as "My Hipster Christmas."

EDIT: Also had a belated Christmas with my dad. Got DJ Hero 2, BF:BC2, and a new jacket from Urban Outfitters.

I got a Sora (KH) thingy to attach to my phone and the "Where's Sonic?" book from my fiancé.

From my parents, I got a sonic hoodie and the software "Guitar for Dummies". I also received $20 from my granddad.

Also, my parents went crazy and spent about $700 they don't have on a brand new 360 with Kinect along with a couple of games for it to boot. Not for me, but the family, so I won't be playing it.

Psh, at least you didn't get Skullcandy headphones. There good, but most hipsters just LOVE them.

Why not? Give it a go with them, you'll have fun!

I've been meaning to ask this ever since Scott Pilgrim first started to gain popularity: What is a "hipster" and why are they so bad?

Hipsters aren't that bad to me. They CAN be annoying. So I'm just gonna post a definition from Urban Dictionary:
\hip-stur\n. One who possesses tastes, social attitudes, and opinions deemed cool by the cool. (Note: it is no longer recommended that one use the term "cool"; a Hipster would instead say "deck.") The Hipster walks among the masses in daily life but is not a part of them and shuns or reduces to kitsch anything held dear by the mainstream. A Hipster ideally possesses no more than 2% body fat.

-The Hipster Handbook, Robert Lanham
Typically a Hipster can be identified by vintage or thrift-store bougt clothing, a taste for obscure or underground music, a penchant for irony and an elitist attitude. - BillHBlack
If you want a better explanation.....

Not everyone who owns a pair of skullcandy is a hipster.

Well obviously I've never watched Scot Pilgim and never will, but I'd guess a hipster could also be an interchangeable term for this:

I've got some more presents now, the best is probably a clock that chimes a different bird song every hour. It was a barn owl at midnight yesterday before I finally got hacked off with it and pulled the batteries out.
