I don't see how that's Game's fault. If anything it's a combination of Namco Bandai's for daring to make a limited edition truly limited and yours for not ordering it earlier.

Why would I have ordered from a store incapable of getting in new stock?

I hadn't heard anything about pre-orders for The Witcher 2 being cancelled.

So, you're saying you'd trust a store to stock a game that probably isn't going to sell all that well, after they failed to stock games that will? From huge publishers? Especially after they already failed to stock smaller games (BlazBlue, Tekken 3D)?
Edit: Actually I don't know why I'm worried, GAME wont flop on this until the week it's released just like every other game they've failed to stock. Which by the way, has been pretty much everything except a handful of Vita launch games.

I guess the execs are trying to get their hands on one last pot of cash before it all implodes.

You guys might want to check your local GAME store for cheap games, as they're selling off a lot of pre-owned stock. Some stores are also selling Microsoft points cards dirt cheap as well!
There are also a bunch of cheap games on their website too, quite a few games for only £2, for example. Definitely have a look.
I hope this is just a way to try and recoop some money, rather than their dying death throes. I really feel for the GAME employees right now, it's a sucky situation.
