YEAH! FIGHT DAH POWAH!
Sonic 3 is over-rated if you ask me. The graphical style was a bit off, the music was decent at best and it has a reliance on "Do-de-do, holding right, doing fine an-AHH, SPIKES! YOU GIT!" level design.

^Why do I have the feeling that I kinda agree?
I don't know... I didn't mind the graphics but it was too much crowded in my opinion and I liked the Sonic 2 Graphics better, it was more open minded.
Music was good, no complains but yeah, the graphics were my biggest problem.

I find that Earth Bound for the SNES is one of the most overrated games in existence.
As far as underrated games, I think Vay for the Sega CD is highly underrated, it really is a good game, in my opinion.

Hahah, no.
I feel I should use this thread to big up some poor underappreciated gem, but I really can't think of any.

I believe that may be the general consensus. The bubble will burst eventually, like Guitar Hero, it's just a matter of when.

COD only became popular after COD4. No one ever mentions 1 through 3 it's always 4 and beyond.

That's because 4 was a massive step up from 2. The first two were great though 1 was a PC exclusive and 2 probably didn't appeal to many people since it was a launch game not ported particularly well and people were kinda sick of WWII FPS games.
4 was amazing but the series has been on a massive decline ever since.

I think Call of Duty is highly overrated as well. To be honest, the only one i've ever enjoyed is the first one on the PC and even then that's not that appealing. Also I don't see the massive appeal of angry birds :/ everyone loves it but it's not as great as most people say.
