Surely the summer drought would have been ideal for it though? It could have a Friday release date of it's own and wouldn't be eclipsed by bigger releases.

Yea you'd think so. But no, it's obviously a smarter idea to release it sometime next year when in reality the only people who will buy it are smart enough to import the fully localised out in Japan and likely will.

Well, Platinum's next game isn't even licensed/produced by SEGA, so maybe this is their way of showing Platinum they care less? I dunno.

Well they obviously didn't care about profit otherwise they wouldn't make so many terrible decisions!

Glad this is probably the last game SEGA are involved in. Hopefully Platinum find better success with Nintendo or Konami and maybe get a better publisher (like WB or something).
