And in a week or two after no one cares it'll be like £18 just like everything else SEGA put out.

No Jet Set Radio or Shenmue? Someone, please call Sega and say they are doing it wrong...
I do understand that probably Shenmue is not a top sale game and they don't want to risk putting it there, but they could at least give the fandom some happiness.

This release isn't about the fandom, it's about putting the digital games into a boxed retail product.
It's not just SEGA who've done it, though. As I mentioned on Twitter, Sony have done it once or twice, and WB Games have done it as well.

Not to upset anyone but anybody who purchased those titles individually on Live beforehand now knows not to spend more money on a collection with games you already brought.
Really disappointed that there aren't any more games added to the collection. Hoping Jet Set Radio, Chu Chu Rocket, and the original Space Channel 5 would've made it, but oh well..better go on YouTube then.

Hence why I haven't bought Sonic 4 yet. There's going to be a retail collection of all the episodes eventually.
My only question regarding the Dreamcast collection is "Why start with Space Channel 5 Part 2 and not Space Channel 5 Part 1?" If it's not for the existing fanbase like Gavvie says then who exactly is it that's thinking "I'm going to try out a new franchise from the second game, not the first!"

Wow.
Just wow, I didn't have my hopes up and even then SEGA managed to utterly destroy them.
I place the blame with the Xbox. If the buggers used Blu Ray like cool people do then they could fit more than 4 games on one disc

I'd love to think it was something like disk size actually stopping them doing a good collection but i've got a feeling they just don't want to do a proper good collection of Dreamcast games when they can drip feed the release's and make more money.

You can't blame them for wanting to make money, but it's still disappointing, and makes me worry if we'll even get greater games like JSR, Shenmue etc.

I demand to see at least one Sonic title in this collection.

I don't know but Sonic Adventure is getting kind of over used. They are putting it in so many stuff. What about Sonic Adventure 2? I mean it was Sonic's 10th anniversary game and not forgetting shadow's first appearance and it was the better one from both the adventure games. Sonic Adventure has been on the Dream Cast, the GameCube, The PC, Than in Sonic PC collection. But Sonic Adventure 2 has only been on the DC and GC.
And even if Sonic Shuffle wasn't a good game, I wouldn't have minded seeing it again.
