Nah they edited a bunch of stuff because of time restraints. Didn't want the show going over 12:30 because they didnt think the pubic transport could handle the crowds any later, or summink along those lines. So doctor who and people jumping through flaming hoops was out and NHS hospital beds were left in.

Aww.....at least it wasn't like how NBC handled it....

Anywho...after this first day, China seems to kick everyone else's asses so far in the Games. Already got 6 medals, 4 Gold and 2 Bronze.

See the entire medal chart here. http://www.london2012.com/medals/

Among the vents from earlier today that I seen/got wind about:

-Italy won Archery Finals in a real shocker, beating USA in the process.
-And Michael Phelps couldn't claim his first Gold medal cuz he wasn't even the top three! That was a shocker. It went to Ryan Lochte instead.

There was also Boxing, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Cycling, Basketball, Fencing, Volleyball and Beach Volleyball. I knew there were more from Day 2 but not sure..

There sure was a lot of controversy in the past 5 days.....

  • The whole Japan/Great Britain thing in Gymnastics
  • That person in Fencing that should've won if the damn timer worked right.
  • And then there's the whole "NBCFAIL" debacle with a journal getting suspended on Twitter because he breached it rules by placing a PUBLIC email to thousands of Americans telling us to direct our comments to the boss of NBCUniversal.Twitter unsuspended his account, and that lead to much questioning over the site becoming a pawn under NBC.
And the "nbcfail" continues to this day....

Also NBC apparently edited the 7/7 tribute out of their coverage of the opening ceremony which had a few brits up in arms, Tom Daly got someone arrested for insulting him on twitter and there's that China swimmer woman that won gold by miles and is blatantly on 'Ingredient X'*.

According to the some loser americans.

At least Britain won a gold today.

Did you see how the entire world's population responded over Japan's win in the Gymnastics? On Twitter they used the hashtag #f*ckjapan. Disgusting, imo.

American wins 19 swimming gold medals. Reaction: "He is truly a God among men!"

Chinese lady does well: Reaction "JUNKIE!!!"

Double standard, much?

I'd have thought the Ukrainians would be more annoyed than the Brits. They were bumped off the medal podium completely after all.

But, hey, I'm sure you're all aware of my stance on Japan by now.
