As of now, there hasn't been any details about that level being there.

Around November or December this year.

We're a talkative bunch, that's why. :P

These questions should be asked in the proper subforum.

As for the Chemical Plant/City Escape video, what the hell were they smoking when making the modern versions of the theme?

Still, Chemical Plant Classic <3

I agree with you on the Classic Chemical version, nice addition of the beats there too :) although...

...I approve of the Modern Chemical as well. If Jun Senoue did the modern version (I think he did, since he's working on the music) then I applaud him for bringing in a new feel to a classic level.

Hey, say what you want but I not disliking the music so far, it's going pretty good.

I could say the same for all modern themes I've heard so far. But then I've never been a big fan City Escape and autotune sure as hell doesn't help.

I guess 16-bit obviously wouldn't work on an up-to-date game.
I can see why they didn't the original themes.

Except they did? Do... do you even watch any of the videos? The problem isn't that they're not using the themes because they are, the problem is the modern versions are really awful remixes, like really, so bad not even OCRemix would accept them.

I was wondering something.
Since classic Sonic will take care of the Platforming stages. I don't think there should have been any more platforming sections in the Modern Sonic Levels and just speed like Unleashed. I mean, many of you probably like it this way but I find it unfair that platforming is a lot more in the game than modern day time unleashed style.

Unleashed was shit and they're doing the right thing by making modern Sonic closer to Colours. An entire level of the speed sections in Colours actually sounds like the worst thing ever.

well... I don't know, I seemed to enjoy the parts where you were in full speed and had to do the drifting and quickstep and all...
