See? Now that you look at it, metroid time lines appear between each other. So it's not the usual "the game happens after the previous" thing.

But even then it's only the ones without numbers. I guess if I cared about Sakamoto's hack job I would have known where Other M comes in.

Streaming game service OnLive has finally launched in the UK and to celebrate they're letting you buy your first game for £1. Now these aren't some shitty shovelware games, I picked up Deus Ex Human Revolution Augmented Edition. Quite a few games available.

And let me guess...
It's UK only...

Like that other website which had 2 SEGA game packs for free.

Things that launch in the UK tend to be for the UK! There's no region lock, except for the fact you'd be streaming a game from the UK to Australia which would be unplayable.

Wonder what games OnLive have, just in case I happen to nab a console unit at EG Expo...

Hm. Only Amnesia is catching my interest at the moment. All the other games on there I either already own, want on a system where I can get achievements, or am not interested in.

The unit itself looks awesome though. Want one.

To be honest it's pretty shit. It doesn't have any of the big PC exclusives other than Amnesia just found out The Witcher 2 is confirmed for the service, the games that should play better on PC (every FPS game) doesn't because of latency and/or stream quality, and it doesn't allow for any customization (couldn't even find a sound setting for Deus Ex).

That said I'm on a wireless connection and a direct connection improves it a little, the system is supposed to improve it even more.

Edit: oh OnLive does have it's own achievement system for the slobbering idiots that care about such things.

Edit2: I will say this about OnLive; it has some pretty good community features like being able to upload clips of gameplay, being able to jump into someones game and spectate, achievements with a points system for people with low self esteem and probably some other stuff I can't remember and can't check because it's having a problem with my internet connection and won't load up (lol).

The console for onlive. Does it your pc need a good graphics card to use it? Just a bit confused on how it works.

No as that would be pointless. For the console you just need an internet connection and a TV/monitor with HDMI. The console is optional though, you can do it through your PC. The whole point of "cloud gaming" is for people to play PC games on high settings without the need of a good rig.
