Seems that from Christmas Day onwards, Alex Kidd is unlocked. Never thought Sumo would create special unlockables like this. Oh you have to be offline for this to happen. And it's for the PS3 and 360 versions so far.

Shogun and Football Manager are on the disc, as well as Alex Kidd, so it can hint to them being DLC/Unlockable in some other methods. Interestingly they are PC franchises from SEGA.
