Yea they could use the this to make a good E3 presentation, but I doubt they will.
edit: that said, I would consider Killzone and Infamous big games since they're both first party, unlike Final Fantasy or MGS which aren't even exclusives anymore.

I like the design of the controller. In all I wasn't all 'WAAWHERETHEGAEMSANDSYSTEMAT'; pointless to think that when freaking E3 is coming up.

I've gotta say, isn't this the first time they actually changed the controller design ever since the PS1?

Sony have announced that the PS4 can play "second-hand games" now.
Dunno what that's all about. Though I did see a quote saying "Developers have a right to DRM protect their software if they wish."

I'd say if that has to do with backwards-compatibility, then I'm alright with that. But it can't transfer PSN purchases from your PS3.....the hell is that about?

There is zero backwards compatibility so of course you can't.
I imagine they mentioned being able to play second hand games because of the rumour that the next Xbox won't.

Different system architectures, and as Reknoc said, no backwards-compatibility. Any compatibility would be software related to keep costs of the machine down, much like the PS3 did with PS2, only it was shit. Sony took that risk once, they won't take it again.

That means you have to pay again for the same games/movies/DLC you had before? Pretty dumb, imo.

Yes, you'd have to rebuy all of the games and DLC for a system that wont play them.

Is it too late to say Sony may have shot itself in the foot? I dunno...
