Wat.

I got an itch to stream, lately I've been wanting to do it, but now that I am aware of XSplit, that MAY help me, although I can't stream on my PS3 *sob*

If you have a PC and any interest in playing games on it then you're doing yourself a disservice by not having a Steam account.

Well, well well seems like Steam is the talk around the net, it's like every time there's a giveaway, it's prize is most likely gonna be "x games on Steam" or something like that. I mean, is Steam good enough to get if you have absolutely no money?

...Steam's gonna be the new wave of gaming I bet....

Steam has been around since 2004, it was largely hated and considered waste of space. Fast forward to a few years a go and it's taken over as the dominate PC gaming distribution system. Rightly so, as it's easy to keep all your games in one easy to use place that can be used on multiple computers, and there is always a daily, midweek and weekend sale where games go for dirt cheap. Not to mention excellent online features.

Steam can run on anything, though the games requirements obviously vary. Source engine is pretty good for working on older rigs (probably because it's looking a bit dated) so you can probably play Valve games at the least.

I had Steam on my laptop for awhile, because I wanted to play TF2.

I managed to download the game, after several hours. I did a few bot matches, got tired of the lag and ended up uninstalling everything Steam related. I haven't used it since.

Besides, I'm not really into PC gaming.

I'm really annoyed with my brother right now.

I told him not to use the internet because I need to update a PS3 game, but what does he do? He starts playing a game online! He does this every time I need to use the internet. When he plays games online, it slows down the internet for me and I can't do anything. It's amazing this forum even managed to load.

Sorry to rant, I'm just sick of him.
