Oh wow this is brilliant news if they do it right.

I was wondering what happened to Crash... It'd be great to see a new Crash Bandicoot title hit the shelves. Of course, I really do hope like everyone else that the game will go back to the original platforming it had instead of this mindless controlling monsters crap which we saw in Titans and Mind over Mutants.
Just like ChaosBlue, I really wished for a game similar to Twinsanity or perhaps Tag Team Racing, those were two games I really enjoyed from the PS2 era.

I agree with you and TCB. I'd be nice to see Naughty Dog-styled platforming sprinkled throughout the gameplay combined with the humor of Twinsanity and its music. Spiralmouth, in my opinion, did a great job on Twinsanity's and TTR's music, though I never played the latter.

I hope it's not like the new Rayman style actually, where he and Globox looked like they were doped up with those stupid smiles and what-not.
Nor like Twinsanity and it's "let's try to make Crash as stupidly funny as possible, just like American comedy".
Just simple light humour.

But honestly, Twinsanity had some nice elements to it. I love the team work idea of being able to use both characters. Plus, I liked how the whole world was connected and you were free to go to any of the places at any time by walking or other means. I especially enjoyed playing as other characters like Nina and the boss fights were pretty nice too.

It still didn't have the feel that I grew up with though.
I didn't even complete it because I just couldn't get into it.

I understand that feeling. Indeed, Twinsanity and Tag Team Racing don't have the nostalgic feeling that you grew up with in the original Crash Bandicoot Games(Though Wrath of Cortex did have that feeling) but they those games are still very good Crash Bandicoot games in their own respective way.
Eitherway though, I don't care much for what style we get, as long as it's a good Crashbandicoot game that sticks to it's core gameplay instead of other elements.

I can say Twinsanity's humor was a lot better than Mind Over Mutant's 'pop-culture'-like forced humor right? Good.

The Mind over Mutants style of pop-culture cutscenes was... interesting. I wouldn't call them bad but they obviously weren't great either. Still a nice touch though.

Well, I refused to play any game after Tag Team Racing so I can't really compare.
I don't think any of us cared that the re-used the 25 crystals thing did we? Since it was the level designs that made it.
