I don't think any of us cared that the re-used the 25 crystals thing did we? Since it was the level designs that made it.
I liked the 25 crystals thing; in Twinsanity though they weren't just collectibles you'll find in each level. They were more tied into the story in how you obtain them than the Naughty Dog-era games.

A lot of people forget that twistantity was a lot like whip lash. Very similar game play wise imo

Even so, Crash Bandicoot is one of my favorite VG franchises out there. He lays in my top 5, along with Digimon, Prince of Persia, Assasin's Creed and the obvious Sonic. There has always been that thing about him that has made very single game that played of him just pure awesome. Of course, I never played any of the handheld ones but I've played every single console one and finished nearly all of them.
There's something about Crash that's just appealing, whether it's the character himself, his gameplay or the whole wackiness of the entire thing. I loved him as a kid and heck, even now as I rewatch the cutscenes for some of my favorites(and trust me, in the past week, I've been rewatching the cutscenes and gameplay, and oddly, even reading the crash Wikipedia for a BUNCH of crash games I loved), the nostalga comes rushing back in.
To be honest, looking back, the CGIs have always been great for not matter which game and I just LOVE how each game is always ended in an awesome way and the numerous times the 4th wall is broken in the games(more often in the newer ones.). That's probably why I love Twinsanity the most. It had a wide range of character camoes, a lot of brilliant humor that makes me laugh even now, some good CGI and a really bad-ass last boss, along with a(yet again), hilarious ending.
Not just Twin sanity of course. All the games have made me laugh in one way or another. Heck, even Mind over Mutants and Crash of the Titans's cutscenes and humor gave me numerous bursts of laughter. The jokes are fresh. That's what's amusing.

Whiplash was a great game, I loved the humour in that.

This week has been awesome for announcements:
Square-Enix announced Drakengard 3, developed by Access Games (Deadly Premonition) and brings back the original team to work on it. I haven't played the Drakengard games, but Nier is one of my top games this generation.
Crysis have announced an officially endorsed MP CryEngine 3 mode called TimeSplitters Rewind, a MP game, developed by fans and even some ex-FreeRadical staffers.
Capcom announced they're bringing the Dungeons and Dragons arcade games to XBLA and PSN. Those games own so hard.
Deep Silver and Volition announced Saints Row 4 is coming out in august.

I'll probably combo-break in your eyes, but Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMIX has been announced for release over here as well.
ShopTo are selling for
£25.85, so naturally I jumped at it!

HD graphics, re-recorded audio (with a proper orchestra this time, I'm hearing), and three Trophy lists. I R Excite.

Yea but that was announced ages ago and not part of this weeks awesome announcements!
Will probably buy KH HD day one. Though I only care about 1/2 games that are apart of it lol

Well, the news that it was coming out over here was this week, so...eh. Also rumours abound that KH2: Birth by Sleep and coded are the games that make up KH 2.5 ReMIX, though coded will probably be treated like 358/2 Days is (HD cutscenes, no game to play), meaning that I'll still have to buy the DS original

Try last month:

lol
Yea I've heard the rumours about 2.5, hope they're true. That way the HD games will have 2 good games between them! Making the DS games unplayable is probably a blessing.

Ah. I didn't see it last month, I presumed it was new
Also - Saints Row IV is TECHNICALLY not new either, seeing as it's just a retitle of Saints Row The Third: Enter the Dominatrix. Still looks frigging amazing though.
