Stand alone it would probably be alright but as a Splinter Cell it's complete rubbish. None of the story makes sense, not a single thing about the first 3 games (to be fair I haven't completed double agent) suggested third echelon were evil or that Grim was some kind of special agent.

It's also crazy linear, you basically just go through the same motions each area.

I actually really liked Alpha Protocol and the character/story sequences were very well done in my opinion, especially how the game quickly forces a choice on the player.

It's still not the spy RPG we all hoped for though.

It's the spy RPG I hoped for, Obsidian make Bioware look like a joke yet again. It's nice to play a game this generation where stats actually matter.

I don't think it actually counts as an RPG though. It's more of a light action game with some RPG elements.

That said, I bought it full price on release (I'm not sure why) and wasn't disappointed with it when I played it. It's one of the only games where I could complete it on 'hard' as well because the 'hard' mode was so easy XD

It's more of an RPG than something like Mass Effect. You actually have to consider your equipment, your stats and how to spend your AP. It's also pretty free in how you tackle each mission.

It'll be interesting to see what Eidos manage now since this really does feel a bit like a Deus Ex spiritual successor.

Why would anyone get mad? It's a good game.

Better than most all of what Sonic has put out over the past decade...

New Super Mario Bros. Wii was probably one of my favourite games of 2009.

Yeah, I've started to notice that. Though if you remove the farming part of Harvest Moon and make it real time, you kinda sorta get something that reminds of Animal Crossing.

Finally got a bigger house to fill up with various crap and a whole bunch of various furries started moving in to town. Forgot about that Dogs concert yesterday, and for the first time in my life I bought an insurance in a video game... Felt weird.

Question: Will the furries move out and be replaced by someone else if I ignore or act like a douche to them? Some are kinda getting on my nerves and I want to meet others. (In the game, that is. Not in real life :P )

You'll be grateful the next time you're stung by a bee and a check for 100 Bells comes trough the post.

Yes. Why, who's ticking you off? Is it that bitch of a sheep, Cashmere?
