I miss the orangey RadioSEGA too. I remember those users, and the others named before. Oh, the memories...
Heh, clicking in the banner it takes you to the main page, on another capture, and what can I see? Puyo Puyo almost stealing fully the Top 5 Requests. Dr.! Who's to blame I wonder? =P

Like how these 'eras' of RadioSEGA lore are defined basically by color. Orange, White and now....Black?

I actually don't remember what the thought process was for each new design.
I think it was something Mark kept to himself.

I think he wanted RS to be like what said before, vibrant and welcoming, to pull in the video game music lover. I would say the same for the "white space" era. That era keep the welcoming vibes, but also changed the site from vibrant and colorful to simple and straightforward. Now the "black space" era, it's a lot more technical (news,features,and such), but still kept that welcoming factor intact.
