My dad laughed at him.
Nope.

"As for the soundtrack, popular composer Richard Jacques has contributed a number of tracks that remix classic SEGA tunes from yesteryear, while some players will be delighted to learn that the polarising commentator from the first game has been removed. Instead, an announcer only occasionally interjects to relay the most important race information, while crowds clap, cheer and chant the name of their favourite racer."

I don't think the commentator will in this installment, that is, in a wide use anyway; it'll be limted to strictly specific events during the race.

Well, since he's the composer for the game, then I'd expect the theme song (if there is one) to not be done by Bentley Jones. In my opinion, So Much More is a nice track, but not really suited for the first installment...tho the mixes of the song are pretty awesome....hmm, maybe Cash Cash?

Gilius, eff yea.
Day 1, SEGA, Day 1.

Maybe I'll even get the prequel just because they included Gilius in this one.

Though he did talk a bit too much, I did like him to a certain extend.

Jacques is back? Fantastic.

Me too man, me too.

At least Jacques is doing some spins on the music for the game.

Yeah, it's better than just straight porting classic BGMs like they did on Tennis and the first All-Stars.

Nice to see a sequel...what isn't nice to see is people trying to convince themselves (on other sites) that its better then other kart racers even though the game isn't out yet.
