i know someone on here was after one

theres one on ebay now

DO NOT BID ON IT

Why?

Well the guy who's selling it is a complete douche, as some of you know i like my fruit machines, this guy is always bidding on peoples machines (and mine in the past) then doesn't pay/collect & leaves neg feedback right away, he recently sold this - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FRUIT-MACHINE-SUP ... perated_MJ

£81 for spares? BS, 2 were sold a week before this & they went for less than £10 each

i sold mine a while back, it was the original (which is the best in everyone's eyes) it was fully working & i struggled to get £40 for it, he is getting someone to bid on his behalf (shill bidding) and a few days later, its back again

here it is - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0437135221

someones been bidding on it to make it a stupid price ;) , wonder if he'll like a taste of his own medicine

but yeah, back to the point, dont even bother bidding on it, its over priced and probably faulty knowing the seller

I'm not in the market for one; but it's kind of you to warn folks about this fellow. Thanks.

Yeah I started reading feedback and not only is he full of shit with his auctions but he's also an asshole when replying to ANY negative feedback whatsoever.

Yeah, you should see the horror story I posted about this idiot who bid on a camera I had. I put in the description in BOLD TEXT that the review button didn't work and they go and try to have Paypal take my money back from me because the review button didn't work, and I also put SOLD AS IS in the title too. I'll PM you the link to the post.

Disingenous behaviour such as this is the consequence of removing a buyer's ability to leave negative feedback.

Reading this person's feedback, it seems s/he also profiteers from postage charges and refuses to allow local pickup.
And although I'm not certain about this, at the bottom of the OutRun machine auction, the description suggests he won't take less than £900 despite the 99p start price. No one bid anyway.

Tell me about it: presumably you mean the seller's ability to leave non-positive feedback on a buyer?

I had a bad experience with an eBay buyer once (who raged about a mobile phone being "completely destroyed" when it was fully functioning and the only wear was a bit on the outer casing edge, as per description). I have been reluctant to sell since, as for the above reason buyers seemingly have little incentive to co-operate.

Sorry, yeah - seller. Ebay decided to chase the big market money that amazon had cornered, and that meant fucking over all sellers apparently.

I've never actually had a problem with eBay so far, that said I'm not that keen on selling stuff on there. Good old carboots are still great!

it was bidded upto £969 (probably by a freind of them) and then all bids were cancelled so either someone offered him something via Pm or just wanted to get a value of the machine
