I'm not much of a sports person however in that scenario I'd always go for proper football. Lets face it, American football is basically "My first rugby" with it's over the top protection and simpler rules.

Oh God, neither! But if I have to choose, then Breakfast because I prefer the BBC to ITV.. Especially when I'm paying for the BBC.
Do you prefer Saturday or Sunday?
