Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill and Zone of the Enders HD Collections

Post by Shadid »

As announced on Konami's Pre-E3 show, the Metal Gear Solid series will have a HD remake both on the 360 and the PS3, with Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and (presumably as part of the PSP Remaster series), Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Now all games will feature graphics up to 1080p, and since the PS3 will get a PSP game, save data can be "Transfarred" (that's how it's spelled) between the two platforms.

Same for the Silent Hill and Zone of the Enders games (ZoE will have "Transfarring" too), but those will release in 2012.

Excite!

Shame there's nothing for MGS1 maybe they'll have a voucher for the PSN version on PS3 or something.

Think this killed most of the excitement I had for MGS 3DS.

Edit: Might as well mention the Zone of the Enders and Silent Hill ones in here.

It's weird that Kojima was talking about Transfarring like it was totally a new thing he created when I'm pretty sure it was announced that all PSP remakes will have it when MonHun was announced.

I picked my timing well. Im halfway through Metal gear 2 at the minute aswell. I might stop playing it and try it again when the collection comes out. Really good news though. Agree with Rek though it doesn't feel like a full collection without MGS1 in there.

I agree with all of you there, but maybe it's because MGS1 is already on PSN, maybe that's why it isn't there.

But it still sucks for the 360 gamers.

No, he'll probably pop up if they're doing anything when E3 starts.

I'd rather just play MGS4 on the 360.
Tic Tac, sir?
