Hi, I'm currenty taking Media Studies for A level and I need to think up of a name for a magazine for an assesment.
Part of the task is to ask people of the target audience for their opinion. As my magazine is in the gaming genre this is a perfect place to ask.
This magazine is going to be for girl gaming, and I need a name. Here are some suggestions, please tell me what you think.
  • Angry Chicks
  • Girl Gear
  • Rings, Coins and Hearts
Please feel free to name any suggestions as well because this is very helpful for the write up.
Thank you

Wow, this thread just oozes sexism, doesn't it?

Just because it's aimed at girls doesn't mean that the title has to sound like the magazine was made by lonely 20-something males.

This one is the best out of all of these, I would actually consider this.

Do not go with any of baraka's suggestions, they sound more like game porn mags. =/

Girls play pretty much the same games as guys, at least the actual "gamer girls". I think going a bit "cutesy" is not a wrong move, but it shouldn't be too stereotypical.

I like Game Girl as well, though "Virtual Girl" might even be better. That sounds a bit more leaning towards gadgets and games in general, so might fit better for a tech-mag for females.

Virtual Girl sounds good.

Gadget Girl could also work, but that feels like it puts more emphasis on the hardware aspect. What about Game Pour Femme. Get a little perfume action going on.
