I have this post idea just to satisfy my curiosity.
People are still capable of following Sega?

Say that's true, that today Sega announce he's returning with a great new console, and with that all his teams back together and working in the games that makes this company great in the past.
Will you Buy it? Will you believe in the company? Or the mistakes from before (Dreamcast letdown being the worst) will be forever present in the minds of players?

Well my position is, YES if was true, i give Sega a new chance. Because i believe Sega had good intentions with Dreamcast, a very well constructed machine, but people punish Sega for his errors on Genesis and Saturn not supporting the machine and we all know what happened.

Anyway the question is: Will you people support a new console from Sega?

Dont think so, its a crowded market with the big three and the handhelds. Thinkbsega would be better remaining a tpd. Dreamcast ended as a nightmare and people wont want to go there again. However, ill take it all back if theres inovation behind it like a new "wii" on the market

why do people always used the words "wii" and "innovation" in the same sentence? ;)

I'd be the first to buy a new sega console, not out of loyal fanboyism, but coz every single one of their consoles has a ton of awesome exclusives & arcade ports

So out of fanboyism then, because SEGA will be the only ones making exclusives for it. Not many exclusives though since it would crash and burn.

If it did happen, I wouldn't buy it. Just because Sega havnt made any decent enjoyable games lately, besides the platinum games (Vanquish etc) If they have they certainly don't appeal to me.

It depends on the library. I doubt they'd get many exclusives or third-party developers in general, though, so very unlikely.

SEGA is fine with developing games, their only successful attempt at consoles was the Genesis/Mega Drive, all the others were either mediocre to failures in terms of sales.

If SEGA ever decided to make a new console, I wouldn't bother with it, since it'd probably be dead within a year. I'd rather them just stick to being third party.

Reknoc: not out of fanboyism, its an ugly word & imo it means a person who can only play & talk 1 brand (eg: the classical sony fanboy). I'll play any game on whatever format as long as I own the format & the game is good. there's a difference ;)

It would all depend on the games. If it had a strong library behind it i'd buy it.
