It had Mr bean playing chariots of fire with an umbrella whilst blowing his nose. you just can't top that.

I missed that.

I was working but I managed to catch the end of it when I got home (From about halfway through the team parade.)

The Gold and White British team uniforms looked so tacky. That's the only thing I can think of to complain about form what I saw. The torch cauldron was cool. Also, I loved that group who brought the Olympic flag in. Weirdest superhero team ever. Particularly the "CHAMPION OF THE EARTH!"

From what I hear the Doctor Who segment was cut out. Ironically to time constraints.

I saw the entire ceremony live from the BBCOne channel through livestreaming. The "cut out" must've mean you heard from an edited version of the ceremony.
