Apologies for dragging up an old thread but there is method in the madness.

For those of you who have already posted, it may be interesting to see if you get better or worse connection speeds than you did previously!

If you could post with specifics too, it could prove useful! (Wireless vs Wired, Operating System, Type of Router / Modem, etc)

This is mine at the moment.

Tested using:
Mac OS X 10.8
TP-Link TD-W8961ND ADSL 2+ Wireless Router
Tested using a wireless connection
ISP: TalkTalk
Long time lurker and sometimes chief assistant. More the former.

Amazing what a new router can do.... considering my Exchange is capped at 14mb/s, i'll have to give o2 a ring tomorrow & get them to increase the line frequency & see if i can push past 16 :D

Heres the new one, had to drop speed to improve line quality/upload speed as i was getting random disconnects as the line has been disturbed by the idiot builders up the road.

Windows 7 Ultimate X64
O2 Wireless box V (Thomson SpeedTouch TG582n Wireless n Multi-User ADSL2+ Gateway)
O2 Broadband 16mb/1mb
Wired

Since my router update, I've been testing the differences since the old one, especially on wireless!

Need to check the test with a wired connection though, need to get a big Ethernet cable D:

Tested with:
- Windows 7 64-bit
- Hitron CVE30360 ZON Board
- a Wireless connection
ISP is ZON Multimedia (commonly referred as ZON TV Cabo, but eh).

EDIT: Same settings, but this time, using a wired connection:

Looks like you'd be better off using a wired connection!!

Didn't go with Virgin as thanks to our lovely council putting the house under the conservation act I'd need to get planning permission (at my expense) for the installation because it's not essential work or a repair to the house.

And seeing as I can't get fibre I'm stuck with ADSL, but have gone with BT for £16 a month for 18 months with 6 months free... oh and at least 12months free with BT Sport when it launches so not too bad.

Only been activated a few hours now & connection is unstable as hell so i'll do a retest in another week or 2.w

Win7 Ultimate x64
BT Home Hub V4 (Looks like an Ipod dock lol)
BT Home BB (Max line speed from exchange is which is approx 14mb/1.6mb)
Wired via Gigabit

Where to find cheap clubwear? Many people tend to search on google. But do you know that the good quality yet low price clubwear can be wholesale from China? Shiying wholesale sexy lingerie since 2005 and offer fashion clubwear as low as $2 per items.
