You need to buy a sketchbook; whatever type floats your boat. Maybe one small enough for you to take around when ya go out places. Anywho, you should get one and sketch in it once a day. No matter how long it takes to do, what it is or what it's of; roughs, illustrations, comics, characters, sceneries, a rock sitting on the ground, a few lines... Anything! Drawing anything once a day will help you stay away from getting into a long period of not drawing anything. You wanna be sure your talents don't get rusty and that what you've learned stays fresh.
This is probably the best way to practice I ever known. I've seen it recommended in every art forum I passed by. It's a great way to gain experience and, at the same time, not lose it when you don't feel like drawing.

I thought Eevee would look good in a Reala costume!

I'm getting a Carnival (Caribbean festival)/Mar de Gras vibe here.
I thought that too when I made it.

Thanks! I am trying to do Pikachu x Alis Lansdale one now. I can only do characters in a set position, as I am crap at making characters in movement.

Edit: IT IS DONE!

I know I should probably add some black lines around some of the clothing, but it's still not a bad job if I do say so myself.

I kind of cheat using CorelDraw to trace the character, then I just add things I know I can do!

I mainly do my artwork on forza motorsport 3+4

I done a number of blaze cars on there aswell as a few silver ones....I also do fan characters aswell and awhile ago I did a Dust: an elysian tail car. I use the line art on DA ask their permission first before I use it.

I would stick afew on here but its not letting me. So I stick the link on here and feel free to have a look around and comment http://rushforza.deviantart.com/

These are pretty good Starlight.

Here's my latest sketch. I made this yesterday.

This is supposed to be a Monk Parakeet. It looks rather generic without colour, I think.
