The DreamCast has landed! And it needed a cool hip rhythm game. And look what we have here. Meet Ulala, the coolest chick in space!

Game: Space Channel 5
Systems: DreamCast, PlayStation 2, GameBoy Advance
Release Dates: DC: 12/16/99 (JP), 6/4/00 (NA), 10/6/00 (EU)
PS2: 3/15/02 (EU), 12/12/02 (JP), 11/18/03 (NA)

Ulala’s Swingin’ Report Show!
Story: The story takes place 500 years into the future. An alien race named the Moroloains have invaded and are forcing people to dance. A TV channel named Space Channel 5 sends in their best reporter, Ulala, to investigate the invasion while beating the other channels to the story.

Simon Says Chu
Gameplay: The game is a rhythm game. How it works is this: the aliens will give you a command (example: Up, Up, Down Down), and you must complete the command properly to progress. It’s basically a virtual Simon Says. The more you do well, the more ratings you get, which is your overall score.
I will say this though, the game can get a bit challenging at times.

The Curviest Girl in the Galaxy
Graphics: Being a port of a DreamCast game, the graphics here are pretty good on the PS2. Ulala her self is a pretty curvy girl. Graphics can be a little blocky at times.

Groovin' in Space
Music: The game is pretty well known for it's soundtrack. It's very jazzy and groovy, kind of like the 70's. It's good but not my favorite.
Music is composed by Naofumi Hataya and Keinichi Tokoi

Best Game in the Galaxy?
Overall: Space Channel 5 is a solid, but hard game. Timing the commands can be a huge pain. The game is pretty straight forward so it's not that complicated.
