I use an 80's TV when I play games in my basement and a flat screen TV when I play games in my brothers' room.

What make CRTs? I'm just curious as I'm tempted to buy a second CRT so not all my retro consoles are hooked up to the same tv.lol

I'm not sure if you can buy CRT TVs in the store anymore. But you can get them on Amazon.com and Ebay.com for around $80 to $300.

In USA you can find free ones sitting on the side of the road when people upgrade to new TVs. Craiglist is a good place too.

CRT all the way for me when it comes to anything that doesn't have HDMI support.

I really wish I had the space for a CRT TV, since HD TVs really don't cut it for retro games- the cut scenes in Empire of Steel look particuarly awful. Sadly, there's nowhere I can really put one, so I'm a bit stuck.

What about a small screen CRT like a 15 inch? Mines quite big so does dominate my room a bit, but surely you'd be okay with a small?

This is the monster I use. Not the largest CRT but could do with 5-6 inches smaller.
