The House of the Dead 4 Comes Back Out....For the PS3 That Is!

PlayStation lovers can now get a hold of one of SEGA's once 'made-for-arcades'  titles and let more zombie blood spew!

Available now, The House of the Dead arrives for the first time to consoles, but it's a PSN-exclusive, reports SEGA Bits. Fans of the classic rail-gun shooter series can now slay (read shoot) killer zombies down with the added power of the Playstation Move.

Check out some screenshots here and the trailer below!:

But wait, that's not all! HotD 4 also has a neat little note in the form of the bosses, or rather their names. From GameZone, an "unidentified SEGA team member" has given some info on the names, by saying their namesake came from tarot cards. Take one of the bosses, Temperance for example:

[Temperance] literally means ‘restrict from something.’ We came to the idea that if you did not restrict food you would become overweight, which led to the design.

The website goes on to say that this particular boss is on of the "non-traditional" bosses that the player's gonna meet, which will try and take you out numerous times through the  fourth chapter, "Despair," unless you have a hefty amount of machine gun firepower. The employee goes on to say:

From this initial profile, we created a suitable attack method for this large body type — rolling. We also made full use of the game’s unique force feedback system with Temperance.

But don't worry there's more dastardly creatures that'll try and tear your player so you're all good, right? Anyway, The House of the Dead is out now, only for the Playstation Network.

Thanks to SEGA Bits, the SEGA Blogs and GameZone for the info!

I'd pay full price if it came with a plastic gun. It's well old now but was great in the arcades.

@KillerFrenchBread: The fact HotD 4 was an arcade exclusive made it even more special to enjoy the game, in my opinion
