The SEGA Saturn titles mark their collective Japanese anniversaries.
On March 29th, 1996, two games were both released for the SEGA Saturn: the strategy JRPG Dragon Force and the soccer/football title Victory Goal. 20 years later, SEGA of Japan celebrates the series’ joint anniversary with album collections featuring remastered tracks.
Interesting factoids about the games' music from two of the people that worked on Victory Goal '96 and Dragon Force. Longtime SEGA composer Jun Senoue mentioned the former had vocal songs "which was a 1st for the series, these are particularly impressive," while Tatsujuki Maeda cites "live sound source reduction" to represent the latter's "epic" game world.
