Two more classic SEGA game soundtracks are getting that vinyl work.
Data Discs are at it again! Starting from December 3rd, vinyl soundtracks to the classic SEGA games Panzer Dragoon and The Revenge of Shinobi will be on sale. As with previous releases, Data Discs have painstakingly worked with the original composers to make sure each piece of music is captured as close as possible.
The Panzer Dragoon release features “a double 180g LP, cut at 45rpm and housed in a single pocket, 425gsm mirror board sleeve with accompanying lithographic insert and silver laminated OBI strip.” Said release comes in 3 versions: the LP on sky blue, black or a limited edition frosted clear, sky blue and grey vinyl. No matter what version, they all are priced at £22.99 and includes 3 bonus tracks comprised of synthesized versions of the “Main Theme,” “Flight,” and “Staff Roll” tracks.
The Revenge of Shinobi’s release is exclusively available via pre-order at £19.99 and features a “180g LP, cut at 45rpm and packaged in a 425sgm outer sleeve, with heavyweight inner sleeve and double-sided lithographic print.” It also comes with the original artwork straight from the archives of SEGA of Japan. There’s also a “signed” edition which has all the contents and pricing of the normal one, only this time 50 copies of this version’s release are signed and numbered by the SEGA music legend himself, Yuzo Koshiro. Please check its product page on more details on the signed edition.
