Finally, the last remaining part of the site is to leave terrafirma and join the rest of the servers in the cloud.
I'm sure that regular members of RadioSEGA can remember the times when the radio stream disappeared, bringing the website down with it.
Well, the content server, that is currently in my loft / attic, is about to move (virtually). All of the music files have been uploaded to a more reliable server that is hosted in the cloud.
So, what we now need to do is to retire the current server so that we can upload the database containing your favourites and requests, and then set the wheels in motion.
We are planning to switch off the current server on Saturday, around lunchtime, which may bring slight disruption to the website.
Everything should be up and running before Saturday Night SEGA later on in the evening.
If it's not back by then, the Shoutcast servers are hosted by Sonic Radio, so SNS will go live as normal - it's just the 24/7 music that will be affected.
Requests between 21st Apr and 27th Apr
