We Have Bo At Home
The hitd episode on the elder SEGA composers is gonna be about Tokuhiko Uwabo. We had a mix of arcade and console before, but this episode will almost entirely be console games, diving into SEGA's original metalhead.http://vgmdb.net/artist/1463
This post is all about the next episode of Individual, with game examples, request advice, sources to learn about more eligible works, and a couple times the show will be going LiVE.
Tokuhiko Uwabo is the third person covered this month, coming later with 1985's Satellite 7 as his debut. Whether or not this episode will also go up to 1988 or beyond, we'll have to see, with lots of original and ported Master System games to cover.
The games I can include from confirmation probably pale in comparison to the amount of games Uwabo actually worked on in the 80's, but there's still a lot that's gonna go down, with talks and music of Action Fighter, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, SPACE HARRIER II and more!
You can send in your requests, I've got enough space for about 6 of them. Feel free to request any song from a project Uwabo has worked on or any remix of a song composed by him. You can send me your requests via Discord (
I'll be listed in RadioSEGA's Discord) or Twitter (
this is me). I might be recording the episode on Tuesday, so please send in your requests before then even if I go LiVE (I still like to edit together some sick transitions and can't really do that in the moment)!
If you're not sure what songs are eligible and don't mind mild spoilers, feel free to check out these sites:
If you're wondering when this show airs, it's on Wednesdays (this time the 21st) and airs at:
6:00 PM - United Kingdom Time (most RadioSEGA folks)
7:00 PM - Central European Time (some others) (me, I'm living in 7:00 PM territory)
and lasts for somewhere around 2 hours!
