I've played this now for a total of 25 hours, and am bursting full of comments, just wondered if anyone else out there had it? =]

So long as you like DBZ I'd say it is

The computers can be frustratingly cheap at times, and there's other annoyances, but overall its a pretty good game

..

Totally kick-ass theme tune too XD

I assume it doesn't cover any of the original Dragonball? Which sagas are in? I know it goes up to Cell and Brolly is in so does it cover the filler/movies?

You get the Saiyan, Frieza and Cell Sagas

As well as a spin off of Bardock managing to kill Frieza (that's a really good one)

And another spin off of Broly appearing (for no apparent reason, how he appears? o_O we don't know..) to kill everyone (seems a cheap way to make the game last longer)

There's no backstory at all, so the most basic things like Goku being killed by cell are totally missed out...hence being a fan makes it a little more enjoyable

Think of it as budokai 1, next gen, that's pretty much what you get

My friend has it, and its not too bad. I mean, its a little frustrating fighting against him, who's played the story, and I've barely played. Still good though. :3

I had to trade it in, if I didn't, I would have broken my controllers XD

Its a very nice looking game...problem is the gameplay isn't difficult, just cheap =/

I remember when he first got it, no one could beat Vegeta on Namek, but then it got to me...XD

XD You haven't tried Vegeta vs Kaioken Goku on Z mode, or Broly vs Teen Gohan on Z mode...

Or the 100 survival mode with no save function or checkpoint...

Am I the only one sick of DBZ games? Seriously the series was a good 42 volumes long why do Bandai seem to constantly ignore the much better first half of the series? It's like for one good Dragon Ball game they make sure to release like 5 DBZ games.

Because Dragonball Z is awesome?

What do you mean by first half? The first half as in Dragonball? Because that was crap, the first half of Z? That's what burst limit is all about XD

Yea Dragon Ball, since the manga never originally split them up (similar to Naruto where the anime split up the series after the time skip). Dragon Ball was much better, it was a light hearted adventure with a decent sense of humour. Then Toriyama through all that away and made it crap with topless men and boring over drawn fights that take forever because someone always manages to pull some transformation shit out of their ass.

Dragonball is rubbish XD Its the most boring thing, the humour is stale and totally un-funny (perhaps cause its like 20 years old, but still) its all panty jokes and dull fights.

Z rocked, yeah transformations galore, but when Goku first hits SSJ its amazing, fighting the Saiyans and Frieza is cool cause they're always losing XD

When Buu game along, it started to lose the plot a bit...so many fusions and things, though SSJ3 was awesome XD

Are you crazy? The first 17 volumes are the real diamond in the series. Few things makes me laugh as much as the original dragonball series. It has the coolest bad guys, and some nice tournaments. No humongous energy balls that destroy planets, no battles that span over 4 volumes, and no f*cking Namek (seriously, half of the stuff going on there is worthless).

Goku turning SSJ for the first time was cool. The everyone else learns it like it's a walk in the park, and screws everything up. Wasn't there only supposed to exist one every 1000 years or so? Cell wasn't all bad, but all the androids were just annoying.

I'm sorry, I just can't get into Dragonball...I find it so tedious, and really dull...the fights aren't exciting nor are the characters...its only with Z when things really get cool...

Like I said, Saiyan and Frieza, pretty much every character dies :O they always lose, The androids introduce Trunks (coolest character ever) and some of the fights are just amazing...Gohan's final against Cell <3 even the Buu saga, it had some amazing scenes (Majin Vegeta o_o)

Yeah the battles last a long time, and each time they gain more and more power...but I like it that way :P

I dunno, maybe every saiyan (sp?) can do it? They just don't know how =/ the moment Gotenks appeared on the scene I wanted to vomit >< I hate him

How can you think the original series is dull? Okay, I get that not everyone likes the type of jokes in DB, but at least it has some story, and it revolves around the dragonballs.

In Z it's just "I'm super-strong alien from space/future, and I shall kill you all so I can get the balls and wish for imortality!" and when he's beaten it's like "Allright! We beat him! Now let's collect the dragonballs to revive our friends that died in this battle!" (which usually take 2-3 pages to do) and when that's done, it's "Okay, I'm off to train now! See you in a few years!" *Time-skip*

Yeah I thought it was cool the first time I read it, but after reading it through a cupple of times, it's really boring.
The interesting characters get's no space couse they're all lousy humans who can't do shit in Z. Kame Senin/Master Roshi is barely in it, and he's the coolest guy in the series. (When he trains Goku and kuririn is my fav part in the entire series)

It's just like yu-gi-oh. I love the first 7 volumes, before everything turns into gigantic card-turnaments, since It involves real-life problems, and proves that Yugi is the master of games, not just card-games.

Maybe we like different things?

I really hated Roshi, he was my least fave character by far, closely followed by Krillin and Gotenks...

I enjoy the timeskip, its really cool to see them all change, it keeps things fresh, and seeing a sparring match you know could obliterate the earth if they slip up X3

I Lol'd at piccolo, he got to be a master for about half a chapter then got overtaken by Trunks & Vegeta XD

Yu Gi Oh is interesting...the Duel Kingdom was crap, it didn't follow the rules of the game...at all o_O" they just chose to obey rules when it suited the duel. The series after that with Marik was crap, all God Cards God Cards, watch as the dragon of ra pwns you, makes toast, turns back time, does anything and everything...

...That said I watched about every episode, but it was still pretty stupid...the manga was okay, but just okay...

In fairness he did create the game, if he wants to disregard the rules alittle to make it more interesting to read then fine.

XD I suppose, but it is very annoying, maybe that's cause I'm a major Yu-Gi-Oh nerd though
