The lack of anything post N64 surprises me. Super Smash Bros Melee anyone?
What about Ocarina of Time? Mario Kart 64?
And the handhelds? Personally the Pheonix Wright tracks have been playing through my mind all day. That could be because I just finished Pheonix Wright 2 though.
Almost forgot Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2. I see them as Nintendo games as they were clearly designed for the Gamecube first.

I'm not a huge fan of gamecube but theres some music I like:
Animal Crossings, Wind waker, Harvest moon: a wonderful life, Star wars: Rouge squadron 2 and 3, F Zero: GX, Adventure island remake and the naruto fighting games.
as for portables too many to list really but i'll list some I can remember:
Most konami games (goemon, castlevania, Super C.etc), Zelda: links awakening, Ouendan!, Sonic rush, R-type DX, Donkey kong, Tetris DS, Jump superstars, Band bros.
I wasn't a fan of the GBA but I love the DS and original gameboy. Ocarina of time goes without saying I thought.:P

This'll be easy for me (seeing as I haven't played too many Nintendo titles:lol:) I think that the soundtracks to The Legend of Zelda:Wind Waker and the Metroid Prime games were my favorites.

I like many nintendo soundtracks, from the peppy, adventurous tunes of the Mario games, to the lively, orchestrated sounds of LoZ: Twilight Princess.

Brawl is going to have an amazing soundtrack. Esp. when you can unlock orchastrated versions of retro music. (They have the Dark World from A Link to the Past, for example!).

Sounds worth while i suppose, wonder how many characters there will be in total? Hopefully more than the last one.

Many. Go to smashbros.com to see. They update the site with new stuff every week. Not many characters now, but it'll grow.
Back on topic: I did like the music from Donkey Kong country two as well. Esp. the Pirate ship, Snakey Shanty or whatever it was called.

Indeed. I love the Waluigi Pinball from the DS game. Reminds me of another game I played once (Not a Mario Kart game).
The Mario Paint music was one of the most annoying songs I ever heard.

Waluigi pinball/wario stadium is my favourite from that game, And yes it really did suck badly.

I had the Mario Paint song stuck in my head once for a day. The tip of the Eclipse Cannon looked pretty friendly after that.
I still say that the, even though this is about Nintendo music, Sonic games have the best music in any game title, besides Halo and whatnot.

I'm an all Nintendo household (most afforable), but I have played and beaten many sonic games:
Sonic the Hedgehog
STH 2
STH 3
Sonic 3D
Sonic Adventure and SA DX
SA 2 and SA 2 Battle
Plus, I go to NiGHTS house to play his games and watch him play them. I know alot for a Nintendo fan!
In conclusion, I know to many Nintendo songs. I have many on my Ipod (though most is sonic music).

*currently listening to Sonic music at this very moment!*
I liked the Paper Mario music the most in the Mario series.
P.S.: I don't see a Sega Music Topic....maybe I should make one.

I suggest Super Paper Mario for the Wii. It's not on there, but you can search it on google. If you can't find it, I'm sure I could find a link.

I just can't wait to hear Galaxy's music.

Temple songs:

I mostly like Yoshi, Mario, DK, Zelda, Sonic, Fox, and Kirby. So I practically like songs from those games. Ocasionally, I do my best to play new games once in a while, so when I become a game tester, designer, and music arranger, I can understand music from each genre.

I would have to say Sonic Rush for the Nintendo DS but then I'm biased!
Can't really say. All the games I've heard has great and memorable soundtracks, even Friday the 13th game was pretty catchy.

Conker's Bad Fur Day had great music and so did Killer Instinct (but I hated the gameplay it sucked in my opinion).

I loved Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask's sound tracks on the N64, on the GBA my vote goes to F-Zero GP Legend, but one of the best sound tracks in video game history (In my veiw) goes to Advance Wars Dual Strike on the DS. On the Gamecube however, nothing seems to stick out in my mind as a favourite; I enjoyed Mario Sunshine's tropical, happy-go-lucky dittys, F-Zero GX's guitar/electric fusions of awesomeness and Sonic Adventrue 2's tunes that got stuck in my head for weeks after hearing them but I can't really claim any of them to be a favourite.

Ocarina Of Time was an immense soundtrack! Song of storms is my favourite tune!

Song of storms is my favourite tune! It's everyone's favourite tune! Followed by Saria's song then Gerudo Valley.
Hm I agree with Ocarina of Time, my favorite track was Serenade of Water (I think... the water temple teleport song).
But also F-Zero GX and Guilty Gear Accent Core (You said any Nintendo system right and not just game :D).

Song of storms is such a simple tune but brilliant, I really like Nocturne of Shadow, i'm not a fan of Gerudo valley. But Saria's song kicks ass.
Ocarina of Time's soundtrack was amazing, the duets with Sheik were always so cool...
F-zero's soundtrack is legendary :P
But my all time fave soundtrack? Its Sonic Adventure Battle 2, that was so Kick ass...I actually bought the CD

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Every song in the Game you will Remember and enjoy.
Gameboy, Tetris, Annoying but inspired!
Also a Gameboy Game called "Crazy Zoo" if anyone remembers it (you had to bowl balls at cartoon animals), it had a quite basic but really quirky soundtrack!
I have to go with Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Sonic Rush Adventure. For Brawl, there is no shadow of a doubt. (Angel Island Mix and Flat Zone 2 are my favorites) Now S.R.A, only because of "A New Venture". Only.
