This weeks choice is by Shadid, and is Sparkster on the Mega drive. The sequel to Rocket Knight adventures released in 94 by Konami. Here's some info:

Sparkster's gameplay is very similar to its precursor. The game largely functions as a 2D sidescrolling platformer, with an autoscrolling airship stage being the lone exception. The player is able to jump, attack with Sparkster's sword, or use his rocket pack to fly. Unlike in Rocket Knight Adventures, Sparkster's rocket pack charges up automatically.
A duel with Sparkster's arch rival Axel Gear occurs, much like in the first game.

Gold Sparkster

The main difference between this game and the rest of the series is the inclusion of seven secret swords hidden within the levels. A player who can obtain all seven will face the final boss as Gold Sparkster. Gold Sparkster hits harder than normal Sparkster, and his rocket pack charges faster. However, unlike super sonic from the sonic the hedgehog games, he can still get hurt.
Completing the game as Gold Sparkster is necessary if players want to see the 'True' ending. If the game is completed without transforming into Gold Sparkster, a message will appear saying 'Try Again.'

God, I loved this game since I was 4 (I think it was my first year playing MD games. XD) and since I worship and loved the game I think I'll give it a 4... The rocket jetpack...Epic.

Been testing this fella out for a bit now, but can't decide on a score just yet.

Good stuff:
The overall grapics look a bit cleaner than Roket Knight Adventures, and Sparkster new look is much cooler than before. The level design has improved alot, as there are alot of secret places to explore. Controlls are a bit tighter.

Bad stuff:
Sparkster is REALLY slow. The standard sword-attack seems almost useless since the jet fills up so fast. These new enemies doesn't look quite as cool as the pigs in RKA.

Yeah this game is brilliant! It's my first time of playing it today, and I loved Rocket Knight Adventures. It's just as good as the first one but quite a bit different, it's a bit easier too but only a bit, I used a few continues getting through it. This game is really up there with the best platformers around.

I think this is A great game to play. Graphics are great and colourful, I like the level design, tunes are catchy. I was always A fan of the first game and while I don't think this is As good as the first it's pretty enjoyable.

From what I have played I can say the graphics are good, the music funkey and the gameplay is prety tight too. I'll be giving it a 5 as I'm enjoying it so far.

I give this a 3. Want to give it a 4 but there are just too many things that bugs me. walking speed, rlack of use for the sword, bubbles that brakes my jetpack, hit area on the first boss, to name a few. Level design is great, but they look really boring. Really need more details. Sprites look cool and that giant armor-mech fight in the beginning was pretty cool.

I'm giving it a 4, to be honest it's a 4.5 for me but I couldn't give it a 5 personally as I prefer the first one, just slightly, but I still love this game.

This game is brilliant! Almost the next best thing besides Sonic on the md.
Excellent graphics, animation and playability! Highly recommended for those who haven't tried it! The score is 4 from me.
