A reamke of the platformer Klonoa: Door to Phantomile that was on the ps1 will be getting released for the Wii. I have this game for the PS1 and I think its a great platformer although I like the PS2 sequel Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil better however it would be better if Namco did a Klonoa 3 but still its great that Namco are giving this game a another go as I thinks its one of the PS1's lost classics.

Hope it comes out in the UK.

I really hope that this game reaches Europe. I also hope that Namco is using this game as a market survey of sorts, and if this game is successful maybe they consider making a real Klonoa 3. This series is awesome.

AWESOMESAUCE!!

Klonoa is by far one of my top 5 fav games on the PSX, so if this reaches european shores I feel like I really have to get myself a Wii.

I can't wait for it to come.
Klonoa is such a good but so underappreciated game series, it needs way more love.
I also hope that this remake is not only a simple port with better graphics, but also has a few new nice bonus stuffs like, for example, including Guntz as a playable character~

Not much but since i have this on the PS1 seeing this bit in the game again with better graphics brings a smile to my face. It looks fantastic.

^ This.

Would've enjoyed footage more without background noise, but oh well... at least it definitely will be awesome.

Might not be as good as the second game but still a fun platformer.

I enjoyed all Klonoa games I've played so far, to be honest.

And I still hope for Guntz being used in that remake, as well~

I played Klonoa for PSone and had really good times.

can't say the same for it's GBA release..... >.>

this remake looks interesting, liked the new graphics, they look so fresh and clean, let's hope it uses some wii "power" with motion detection gameplay...

I heard that the game does not use any of the waggle from the remote.

So, they are sticking to traditional gameplay? That's good to hear since this game had a pretty solid gameplay when it was first released.

Thank god for that.

I was pretty interested in this, then my mind went to the price. Is this going to be a full price game? I mean a PS2 game for £40 will crappy motion controls is one thing but a PS1 game with just better graphics is another. Maybe if it has like a bunch of bonus stuff then I wouldn't mind so much.

Oh wait, isn't Klonoa a Bamco game? Meh not expecting to see it in Europe anytime soon then.

Yes, Klonoa is a Namco-game, however, except for Klonoa Heroes and the Wonderswan game, all Klonoa games to date have been released in Europe. Klonoa Beach Volleyball wasn't released in America, tho.

I played Klonoa Beach Volleyball some years ago when the PS1 was on its last legs. it was ok but if i had a choice I would choose the Dead Or Alive one.

I don't. Especially because I think Klonoa and Guntz are waaaaay more cute (and latter sexy) than some DoA chicks with bikinis. =P

I'm not saying that it won't come out in Europe I'm just saying don't expect it for a looooong time because Bamco are a bunch of dickbutts.
