Can't believe it's gone so fast. 10yrs old on nov 27th (well that's the date that wiki says so it MUST be right......). My mate got a jap one on launch with sonic and sega rally. Was so amazed with the system.
Just can't believe how fast times flying. I remember geting one the christmas after when I were about 15. Great days.

I was in year 10 of college when I got mine, those were the days. My brother skived off school and got it in the day 'cos we went halves on it. I remember getting back with some of my mates to see it all ready and set up and playing Powerstone and Sonic long into the night.

So, who's going to make a Dreamcast shaped cake?

That would look so cool.XD an edible dreamcast.
Seriously though, they were the day's. I could only get one game with mine at christmas so I got Blue stinger as i've always been a survival horror nut. I liked it but that one song going through the entire game drove me nuts.

I think it makes sense as Japan started it all.

I agree. That's why I put this up. I consider the Jap release the "birth" of the Dreamcast.

Yeah, seeing as 9/9 means nothing to me either, being a Pal gamer and all that crap that goes with it.

Could be worse, you could be in Australia. Then again it might be worth it for the beaches...It's a beach tax!
But yeah; happy birthday Dreamcast! (Even though I never owned one and don't really have any significant memories of it. *Prepares to be bombarded with rotten tomatoes* (Damn goldfish brain >_<))
Happy belated birthday Dreamcast

Happy Birthday Dreamcast. I just finished a session on Sonic Adventure, and more Dreamcast gaming shall come later tonight :). It's still one of my favourite consoles, even after all these years. Seems that it's still thinking ;).

Happy Birthday Dreamcast
Also check out the lastest issue of Games TM as they have a big 29 page feature on the DC including a look back over the 10 years of the DC's history, a making of the japanese game Lack Of Love, a look at some of the canned DC games and a look at the homebrew scene. Its a good read.

Yes, it's very good. By sheer luck a shop I went to had one copy of it on the 26th, so I've read most of the Dreamcast stuff already. Looking forward to reading the Lack of Love making of later on, I've always thought that game looked interesting. Any Dreamcast fan should take a look at the magazine at least.
