Just thought I'd pop this up as I've been having a lot of weird random dreams lately and I always find it strange the weird things your mind will start to think about while you sleep. For example it's pretty hazy but what I do remember of my dream last night I went to see my mum and Russel Brand had moved in next door and he started givin me crap for no reason so I got him in a headlock but he got out of it and run in his house.

Don't ask me why. I don't know.

I just want to know that im not the only one that thinks up weird crap while they sleep.

I had a hospital appointment earlier in the week and I must have been subconciously nervous as the night before I dreamt I my journey there was being constantly interrupted.

No matter how hard I tried things kept going wrong as I was making my way there. I had a bike but it felt too hard to peddle, I decided to walk but then the road was so slippy my shoes couldn't grip and as soon as I was making some progress I dropped my bag and it took me ages to recover the spilled contents.

A fairly typical dream in most ways but it's the only recent one that stands out in my mind.

I was just flicking through the channels before I went to sleep and he was on channel 4 wavin his arms about talkin his fancy words, most of which I don't even know what they mean and he must of stuck in my head.

I had one a few nighta go, it was just your average zombie apocalypse (sp?) so I was holed up in my house and was sorting through my kitchen cupboards figuring out how long I'd be able to survive....it was weird  there was only one zombie wandering around our village, but it was all over the news...

I had a dream last week which was surreal and was bought on by Rayne talking about vampires.

In this dream it was a futuristic warn torn earth kinda scene (think Halo 3) and I was in the army fighting along and there was an alien invasion, and so me and my team are looking out for these aliens and suddenly I trn around and one of my team mate turns into these aliens and I see him morph into this creature my roaring and stretching his mouth wipe open (think buffy) and they had really wrinkled but thick light brown skin, anyway it was quite scary and a lot of other members of the team all around the army were turning into these things, and so I started shooting and to kill them you had to get a headshot (naturally of course) and basically got the adrenaline going then I woke up, it was more exciting than scary.

And I had another similar dream a few days after but that was REALLY bizzare and doesn't make sense (while running away we ran through a building site and through an insulated wall and somehow stealing some sealant.... yeah me to).

My dream last night is a bit hazy. All I remember is entering a cooking competition and being really proud of my chocolate covered, chocolate egg and then being gutted because I got into the final and I couldn't go as it was in Australia and for some strange reason I was banned by the Australian goverment from entering the country.

Lately I've been having this weird dream where I'm driving a 2002 Hyundai Coupe, basically picking up friends and family and driving them from point A to point B... problem is in the dream I can't shift gears and the roads that in real life are supposed to get us to our destination aren't there, kinda disappear like in Silent Hill or something (fog included)... worst part is waking up feeling so damn irritated...

Last night I had the freakiest dream I've ever had:

I was at school and there were three small swimming pools with fish in them, along with creatures that looked like mini loch ness monsters. For some reason I started fishing (Which I have never done in my life) and a small group of people gathered around and started watching me. (I'm guessing they were people I know, but I couldn't 100% recognise any of them) Everything was going okay until a baby paddled along in the water, someone took it out of the water and started doing the traditional mature person/baby conversation, eventually asking the baby "Ooooh, so what's your name?" to which the baby replies (in the most demonic voice you'll ever hear) "I have no name..." at which point the baby leaps out of their arms and starts chasing me. It chases me until I get outside. I think I'm safe but then suddernl;y the baby appears and says with a psychotic grin "I want your leg...The blood is delicious..." it then bites my leg off and laugh evily.

Then I woke up.

Your brain can act really strangely in terms of remembering dreams. When I woke up this morning I could remember what I dreamt. I remember it was weird because i was thinking about it while i made a brew and read some teletext before I came to work but I can't remember any of it now.

DarkHedge
12-12-2008, 17:18
I dreamed of something completely weird, and it's just too common for me to dream weird. I was thrown full speed ahead in some random sportscar, for a second I was next to a faceless driver, and the next second I was behind the wheel! I hear police sirens, and as I seem to can't control the car, I did some accident. I woke up shortly after.

richarddavies
15-12-2008, 14:32
My dream well made me laugh this morning. I dreamt i was working a really crappy job and my boss was just nagging at me for ages and ages, then I had enough and i just went "look mate can you stop, my alarms gonna go off in a minute." then just as i said it my alarm went off and woke me. Were well weird.

Killer French Bread

Do you use the old teletext or the digital version? As you, I always read it in the moring when having my breakfast and for some reason the freview version really pisses me off. I suppose it seems slower and I still have all the numbers for stuff hardwired into my brain, so part of me refuses to 'upgrade'. This new service pales compared to a good old game of bamboozle!

richarddavies

Killer French Bread

15-12-2008, 17:17
David Jenkins, one of the main reviewers on there makes me laugh. He used to be on gamecentral/pulse on sky quite often on a games discussion show. He is the definition of dweeb but I can't help but read his stuff.

I had a seriously WTF dream this morning.
Basicly, I was hanging out with a couple of friends in what I think was an old mill or something. Then terorists came in and said they were going to blow up the place at a specific time, so me and one of my friends we into the attic to hatch a plan but the door was locked. So we shouted let us in and when the door opend kermit the frog was in there. After a while the time came for the bomb to explode but it didn't. Me and my friend voice our dissapointmentXD that it hadden't happend so we then went outside.
Another peson I know turned up in his Fiat Punto and for some strange reason a character from the soap neigbours was there:blink: and got into the car with a load of other people (some punto huh?) and then shortly after I woke up thinking "WHAT THE F***?!":P

Oh my, I'm sure you'll all agree I had the dream to end all dreams two nights ago.

Basically I was watching a new Aliens films which was basically just Dolph Lundgren running in a straight line down a corridor blast aliens never running out of ammo, but here's the best bit! It all took place from a first person perspective!

So, my man Dolph is having the time of his life until he his snuck upon by some brain box alien, he comes to a halt and hears heavy breathing. Uh-oh, one alien in front on behind and no where to go. Drip, drip alien saliva coming from above from a heating duct. Dolph surrounded by three aliens and now he runs out of ammo, one of the aliens does the tongue in a tongue thing they do, no way out.

Dolph then remembers he has the controls for the heating in his pocket (wtf! plot hole ftw!) flicks a switch and a ball of fire shoots through the heating destroying the one above which falls on the other two killing them.

Wow, best dream ever and the most vivid I have ever remembered a dream.

But seriously why doesn't this film exist irl? Someone call Hollywood!

I had a weird one last night.

I was in Amsterdam (Don't worry, it's not as bad as an opening like that would imply and it looked a heck of a lot more like Rotterdam) and I was trying to get a subway train to Carlisle. (Which is quite a difficult thing to do as Carlisle is a city in the north of England).

After waiting half an hour for a train to head in the right direction to arrive I eventually gave up and headed back onto the surface. I started walking along the city road when a passer by, a cyclist and a construction worker all started shouting at me in Dutch as I tried to cross the road, confused I headed back into the station via the construction site the man was working at. Back in the station I wait for a while longer and a train arrived headed in the wrong direction but I boarded it anyway with the logic that I could just get on a train heading back in the other direction at a larger station but I gave up on that idea as there was only one other station in that direction and the train there only went back to the station I started at so I headed back to the first station.

Upon arrival at the original station a train was just about ready to leave so I ran up to the driver's cab and simply asked "Carlisle?" (I kept it simple as I can't speak Dutch and I didn't think they would be able to speak English) the driver stared at me and nodded but then closed the doors of the train anyway and left. Fortunately another train came soon after but it didn't slow down so I had to try and jump through the open doors as it was moving, I got a hold of a handle inside but I couldn't pull myself inside in time, instead I accidently found myself nestled in the soft, padded, bendy bit of the train that connect carriages for a couple of stops until I fell off at a dark, dusty and derelict abandoned subway station.

And that's when I woke up. Quite an adventure...

Anyway, this time I was a passager on a plane preparing to take off from a jetty at the (sea) port in Hull. I looked out the window and saw that the winds were heavy and the sea was rough, heavy and rough enough to turn over a jetty in the near distance but I didn't let it bother me. We waited a few more minutes for the last few checks when the jetty the plane was on was also turned over: I'm thrown onto the ceiling as the plane flips over and it begins to flood, unable to turn myself upright in the confusion of being throw across the plane I drown.

Yes we do have f*cked up dreams, thanks for noticing. And yeah I do have dreams when I'm trying to run for whatever reason which brings up a dream I had a long time ago.

Okay, one time I had a dream that I was watching Soccer with my dad at night and all of a sudden we hear this loud door knock from the living room. My dad went to go check who it was and then I see this guy choking my dad downstairs. I went to go get a broom and kept hitting the bad guy like there was no tomorrow and so my dad escaped the neck choke. And so my dad and I jumped out from the window in the living room to the outside front-yard and so we started getting chased by the bad guy and we kept running but my dad stayed back so he could stop the bad guy but he failed and just got killed and so the bad was chasing me. I was running and crying but I was still happy because he had no gun so if I out ran him I could've escaped and call for help but that didn't happen because the bad guy was running like crazy. And so he caught up to me and stabbed me but I was still living until he stabbed me straight into where my heart was. The end.

I don't usualy indulge in all this dream feting, but I did have quite a tangible, and more significantly memorable, one last night where the blind I shodily put up in the dining room yesterday melted in the sunlight and started drooping down the window in blobs of purple plastic. It shows how much malignant fears in the back of your mind affect your dreams, because I only put half the brackets on it I should have and went to bed half thinking I'd hear a big smash at some point in the night. My mind must have been dissapointed and given me a funkier alternative domestic catastrophe.
