I'm considering getting the first Xbox because I've seen a good bit of Sega titles on it and I hear alot of people considering the Xbox to be the "Dreamcast 2".. Is there any chance that someone can give me a list of Sega titles that were released on the Xbox? All I can think of are Sonic Heroes, Jet Set Radio Future, Shenmue 2, Outrun, and Yakuza. I just want to know if the Xbox is worth getting if there are enough Sega games. Thanks!
Here you'll find a fantastic list of Sega titles
Note its games published by Sega, so there'll be some sports titles and the like, but its a good read nonetheless:

Games like Panzer Dragoon Orta (Amazing <3) and otogi are awesome too, for the price of an xbox these days you can't really go wrong :P some of the 1st party Microsoft titles are pretty good too

That's not a very complete list..maybe the site is acting up but once I was on page 3 it said no more results :\ Any other way to find this out?
Try it again? All the pages work fine for me.
If not try Sega's homepage, maybe they have a list, or perhaps Wikipedia...ign may have one too.
There's GunValkyrie. I've not played it but I heard its quite good.

I looked at the list: Crazy Tax 3 and ToeJam&Earl III games caught my eye to be honest. Orta too, but I haven't seen copies of any of them at the games stores where I live (those three).
SEGA Slam Soccer, not played it but I have heard mixed things about it. And its also coming to XBLA

It's a nice arcade soccer game where hitting the opponent or the ball is the same. If you play it alone it can become old after a couple months, but it's a lot of fun playing with friends, each controlling a member of the team.

Cool stuff. How about PS2? The Yakuza series looks good.
Thanks for the list. I've been actively collecting all the old XBOX/PS2 Sega stock that I can get, since most places are clearing those systems out where I'm at. The sports games are great to get - you should be able to snag them for $1.99 or less, and honestly, the most common game I've seen is Shenmue II. I can't resist buying it whenever I see it for $3.99 complete.
I've been trying to get GameCube games, too, but those are always more expensive for some reason. Did Sega Soccer Slam come out in North America? I've never seen it, and that strikes me as a Europe-only title if there ever was one...

I'm pretty definite that Sega Soccer Slam! was released in North America. I faintly remember watching an X-Play review of it(a positive one too!), so it surely was released in the U.S.
Oh, Sega Xbox games I highly recommend:
Shenmue II
- Comes with a DVD that sports a short movie of the original happenings in Shenmue I. Highly addictive Adventure with a fantastic storyline. Immersive and addicting fighting-game-like battles.
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Gun Valkyrie
- Amazing sci-fi action/adventure title. The graphics still hold up extremely well to this day.
Toejam & Earl III
- Fantastic co-operative play. In essence it's a dungeon crawler though, but think of it as having only one floor in each level(but they get much, much bigger) with randomly generated enemy and item spawns.
If I can think of anymore I'll definitely edit the post. :3
EDIT :: URG, can't BELIEVE I forgot Jet Set Radio Future. Must-buy. Go get it NOUW!!

Dungeon crawler?! It's been awhile since I've played the Genesis games, but weren't those platformers? Interesting change of events if this is more RPG-like. I'm just playing through SHINING THE HOLY ARK right now, so I think I'll be all crawled out after I finally make it through that one!

Heh, well, it felt like a dungeon-crawler to me anyway. I guess you could say it's much more like the first Toejam & Earl, except with platforming gameplay mixed with randomly generated levels that remind me more of dungeons without a roof. x:
You have Shining the Holy Ark? Wasn't that one on the Saturn? ooo, I'd love to be able to play that someday! =D

Yeah, I have a complete first-party Saturn collection, which is nice. I also have most of the rare or good third party games too (Working Designs games, Winning Post, Street Fighter Collection, etc.). It's mostly sports titles or bad PlayStation ports that I'm without. This means that I'll never run out of good games to play for years to come, heh. It's been great these last two years finally playing a lot of old Saturn games I never got the chance to play back when I first had the system (Panzer Dragoon Saga, Mystaria, Burning Rangers, Dark Savior).
Cool regarding ToeJam...looking forward to buying that one once I find it cheap enough.

That's insane! YOU OWN PANSWER DWAGOON SAGA?>!? *cleverly intercepts your IP address and somehow fictionally connects it with your address and and and..*
Lol, I own a demo of the original NiGHTS, so it's...almost as good.. >_>
When my friend got the title around 10 or so years ago, I'd borrow it off and on, and we treated our games as if we owned eachothers' games, but nowadays we don't see eachother as often because of college and work and etc.
HUGE congrats on the Saturn collection. Jealousy reigns among thousands of Sega fans as we speak.
And, I forgot to mention Jet Set Radio Future in my post. Best. Game. EVAR.
Man I really wanna play Jet Set Radio Future I hope that soon SEGA put it up on Xbox Live for download. Still I guess i could hunt down a 2nd hand copy but I'm not sure if it will run well on the 360.

There are second hand copies all over the place here - the one that came as a two pack with Sega GT and Jet Set Radio Future. They are all cheap too. I'm guessing you'll have similar luck if you go and look through EB Games or Cash Converters.
I might have a hard time since a lot of the bigs chains like GAME and Gamestation have got rid of all there Xbox stock. As well as there Gamecube stock as well. I could try Cash Converters but i might have better luck on ebay.
Do you own the game? if so does it run well on 360 as i heard it has compatibility problems with most Xbox games?

I haven't beaten the game using the 360 yet, but the only problems I've encountered are two issues. One is huge, the other is just annoying.
First, the big issue. When attempting to create your own graffiti, The top third of the square/rectangular area you're allowed to spray/draw in is covered in either extremely dark lines or completely covered altogether. Meaning, if you try to spray in that area, you won't see what you're doing. It becomes extremely annoying if you're someone who is trying to make a decently good, attractive logo, symbol, picture, etc.
The smaller issue is a minor graphical flaw. When you press start a menu pops up. A lot of times the font in the menu glitches to where it disappears, fades in and out, or has diagonal black lines etching through them.
I know these are issues with the 360 compatability because I beat JSRF on the original Xbox..twice. >_> But if you can handle those issues, then it should be highly enjoyable.

As long as it dont crash while i'm playing then i'm fine. I'll see if i can get my hands on a copy soon, thanks.

The game runs perfectly on the 360 with no aparent issues (I've beat it on the 360 and encountered no problems)
You've no chance of finidng a copy though, not on the highstreed, the game was fairly rare and not many bought it. Ebay would work but Amazon is your best bet :3

Of the handful of Xbox games I have; Shenmue 2, Panzer Dragoon Orta, and Sega Gt/Jet Set Radio Future. I have the House of the Dead wii game with 2 and 3 on it so I'm good on that. Though, Monkey Ball looks cool, never played through it.
I had Super Monkey Ball Deluxe on Xbox. It wasn't bad, but not exactly great either.
I do very much regret getting rid of Jet Set Radio Future though. I have no idea why I did it, and if I get the chance to buy it again I'm gonna grab it with both hands. Classic game.

If you're ever in Nottingham you should check the GAME near Broadmarsh I'm pretty sure they still have some Xbox Originals in, might be there.
I'm in Nottingham at the beginning of next month actually. Not sure whether I'll have the time to drop in, but if I do I'll have to take a look.

There's also Play-Time and Gamestation, if time permits.
That I doubt. I'm in Nottingham for a two day course at work, so I might not have the time to wander to Play-Time or Gamestation and back.
You can pick up decent pre-owned copies form Ebay & Amazon Marketplace for about £7, sometimes its the Sega Ralley double disc, nothing wrong with that though.

Yeah, I got that, but I haven't played that half of the disk yet. Lol.
I don't know if I'd want Sega GT 2002 actually. Got the Dreamcast one, but I was never really interested in either of it's Xbox iterations.

The xbox one is a lot better, still a bit of a shameless GT knock off, but it became a modest cult hit amongst my mates because you can tool up Renault 5s and race them down drag strips. It was also on of the first games I played where you can take photos of your shiny customised motors if that kind of thing appeals to you.
Don't know how it would hold up to modern racing games though, I haven't played it in years.
The only problem I had with Sega GT was that every car, no matter how much you modified it or how fast it was meant to go, felt like it was going as fast as a milk cart. Far too slow.
I bought a 2nd hand copy of Spikeout: Battlestreet a couple of years back and it's the game I keep returning to on the XBox. I've got my MegaDrive copies of the Streets Of Rage trilogy and was as annoyed as anyone when the series never made it to the Saturn or Dreamcast. Spikeout's the next best thing though.
