Personally, I like Sonic Rush AND Sonic Battle most. Sonic Rush gives me the feeling of a great Sonicspeed game, so I voted for Sonic Rush :P

I've only really played the Neo Geo one, and even then it wasn't to a great degree, so I'll vote for that but it isn't a very enlightened choice.

If anyone picks sonic blast i'll go apesh1t. It's just wrong.
I've only really played about 4 of these in depth on the handhelds. Probably go for advance though.

Its got to be Sonic on the Game Gear guys :D remember how utterly awesome that was?! A Sega in your hand!!! Nothing compares to that :P

God that reminds me. I was well gutted. I remembered about a month ago that a friend of mine had a game gear in a carry case with a stack of games. He was never really into games so it was just in his cupboard collecting dust for years so I asked him if I could buy it off him. He checked and told me he'd threw the whole lot away, tidying up.:(
What a waste is that.

Ah, you serious? That should be a crime :(
I've never actually owned one, I remember being awe-struck when my cousin showed me his all those years ago :P
Man Sonic Labyrinth isn't on that list... Guess I'll vote Advance, I suppose, whatevs.

Voted Sonic Battle. I really enjoyed that and it was a good gaming surprise. Sonic Rush is nice, but I never got into it has I got into Sonic Battle.

sonic labyrinth? no offence but in the forums, i saw sonic labyrinth being the top 10 in the worst sonic game! that's why i did not put it
I really enjoyed the Game Gear games my fave was Sonic Chaos but the one thing that sucked is you had no way to save your data when your battries died. Still a classic though however I voted Sonic Rush simply because it is a very fun game and had a kick ass soundtrack. The second game Sonic Rush Adventure was cool too.

I believe he was just kidding. But just for the lolz, maybe you should put it up there anyway. Somebody's gotta vote for it.

Yeah well I voted Sonic Rush for what 7Force Also said and might I add that it's the First Sonic game to have a Main playable Female lead? (Sonic Adventure Amy was just additional Charecter to play through.)

Got to go with Pocket Adventure.
I loved my NeoGeo Pocket Colour and that game was second only to Match of the Millenium for the system.
Second only to S&K3 for my all time favourite Sonic games too.

Sonic Battle. Because I've always been dreaming back then of beating the FUCK out of Cream. [/SADISTIC][/ass**le]
The lack of Rush Adventure here makes me somewhat grumpy...

Rush Adventure is a great game but I felt that the first Rush game was the better one.

I'd assume since no sequals are mentioned that each choice is for the series. Plus the original was better since it didn't have material grinds and it also had Naganuma.

u r very right! i did not add a single sequel cuz the original is the main 1 & the original 1 is always the best!
i like advance... most 3... and rush and rush adventure it's great games like them!
I liked Rush Adventure more than the first Rush. Sure, some collection stuff was a bit annoying at times, but the overall gameplay, level design, and music (Guess that's a matter of taste though) were so much improved so I let it slide.
First Rush suffered hevilly from too many holes (you know, those miss-one-platform-and-fall-to-your-death-places. Culdn't think up a good word for it in english...) and some really annoying enemy placement.

I'd have to say that Sonic Rush and Sonic Advance 2 tie for the best Sonic Handheld ever.
Sonic Advance 2 was fun, and difficult. It had alot of great levels, like that Sky one which I forget...XD.... And it required you to play as all the characters, which was pretty cool!
Sonic Rush was also full of great levels, especially the Final Zone!
The Rush soundtrack was also jammin'!
...It's so hard to chose the best one....

Sonic Advance 2 making you get all the emeralds five times pissed me off.

No sequels made the list. The person who made it just felt that the originals were better suited for that.

For me it's Sonic Rush. Mainly because it's the one that brings back the most memories of Mega Drive Sonic. I also really like Sonic Advance though.

Couldn't really say, I haven't played any of the Nintendo-Sonic handhelds, and I think I'd make a world of difference.

Sonic Rush for me. Triple Trouble is also very good
Sonic Rush Adventure's good, as is Sonic Rivals.
I'm going to have to say Sonic Chronicles though. Sonic and RPG together equals a very good game, and very playable, when it really shouldn't be.

It is a very good game Bioware did a good job on it although for my money a pure Sonic game on handheld would be the Rush series.
Sonic Rivals is pretty good to although I'm not really a fan of the whole racing theme of the game. I really need to finish the first and second game.

Sonic Chronicles is a great game. Now, if only they would announce the sequel ...

Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble
My, there sure is a lot of love for Sonic Triple Trouble.
I remember wanting that game badly when it was originally announced for release on Master System as Sonic Chaos 2, and was very badly disappointed when it was seemingly cancelled. Found out years later that it'd been cancelled for MS, and renamed for the Game Gear release.

Sunset Park Train.
It will never be forgotten.
Yeah, that is a quality track. I don't think I've even got past that level, but the music's so good I couldn't really care less.

I think Sega should Stick to sprites or at the very least do what they did to Sonic Rush for Sonic Generations. (Sonic Generations is a DS game where the games Sonic 1 Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Kunckles are fused into one game with brillent graphic designs on levels. Like Angel Island. The Flames Appear in Forground and Background Consuming the forest when Sonic Blazes through and you can See Dr.Robotnik in the background setting Fire to it with his Flamer Mobile.)
I looked up Sonic Generations on my ever faithful source Wikipedia, and I can't find anything about it. You sure it's an official title? And if it is, can you show us your source?

I loved Sonic Advance 2, it was and still is one of my most used GBA cartridges. You could play it anyway you wanted to really: easy (Choose Cream and hammer B constantly) explore the levels with Knuckles or just play it how you're supposed to: Speed through the levels as Sonic while trying to collect the emeralds. Tiny Chao garden was fun too. (Even though you had to unlock it.)
Sonic Rivals is pretty good to although I'm not really a fan of the whole racing theme of the game. I really need to finish the first and second game.
Sonic Rivals could have been brilliant but the racing thing ruined it for me a little bit. I know you're supposed to travel through the levels at high speeds but when you're forced to do it rather than do it simply for the heck of it some of the fun melts away.
Bah, I thought it was quite good fun actually. I especially liked how you was fighting the boss as well as your opponant as well. It's like you're double teaming Eggman, only you're not because you need to score more hits. Quite unique, and worked quite well in my opinion.

How come Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble isn't on here?
How come Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble isn't on here?
Because Sonic The Hedgehog (GG) is and it's part of the same series, and no matter how many times you ask it never will be on the poll because it's full.
Though I'm distressed by the lack if Tails' Adventure love in this thread, game was cool and Tails' has an awesome pimp walk.

You speak the truth, good sir. Really cool game, although it's NOTHING like any other sonic game. I wonder if they just put Tails in it to make it sell (like Dr. Mario).

I'd have to say the Sonic Advance series because 1) it keeps with the classic feel, and 2) it's the only portable Sonic game I've played, and I had to play it on an emulator.
