It seems Sonic has been the main focus of late, but I felt I had to ask this. Do you like the older style of Sonic or the new post-adventure style?

I fell in love with old-school Sonic, but when Sonic Adventure came out, i was excited with the new design as well. This will be a tough decision. (If my images are too big, could someone find smaller ones?)

I grew up with the old-school Sonic, so I'm 100% biased in favor of it.

Old-School Sonic! Many games of that time was very very fun!
But Post-Adventure Sonic is not bad too!

I do like the new look Sonic but my fave will always be the old school Sonic. These days Sonic is a bit hit & miss but every time i look at the old Sonic desgin it screams quality.

I'm going to have to go with oldschool Sonic. Really, there's not much difference. Cosmetically there's a big difference; the newer Sonic is slicker, has green eyes and has buckles on his shoes, but they're both speedy blue blurs who are way past cool. :3

I never really cared much for the design type but I actually prefer a composite set of sonic's sprites, mainly seen in Sonic 1 Megamix Where it had the standard sonic 2 sprites, sonic 2 beta sprites for running(circle shape) and the Sonic CD Infinity loop as well as some other sonic cd sprites.

If I had to make an official pick, it would be the Sonic CD design. So yeah, Old-school

Old school sonic looks better. The new sonic is soppost to look more arrow-dynamic to look like hes going faster

While Post-Adventure Sonic is more cool, and sleek; I still prefer classic Sonic due to nostalgia, which also seems to be the case with just about everyone here apparantly.

Sonic seems to have too much attitude nowadays so I'm a gonna have to go with the crowd and choose classic sonic for the win.

Well I guess they want to make more quality games, that have great graphics, so that people can get into the game. But thats why they made Sonic Mega Collection +, i love it! Its all Old Skewl

maybe he will end up like megaman you know, megaman 9 took the classic look. maybe sonic will take that step to go back. but thats my thoughts

Classic look due to the fact i find him more loose and more animated. He can pull off any expression. Last is because he actually resembles somewhat to a real hedgehog. XD

:boring:

Sonic should fall into a wormhole, get amnesia, and end up back in mobius. Then all would be well.

The new-school Sonic design is far better. At least that trend of all-black-eyes is no more. It seems also that Sonic looks more what he is in this design: bluer, faster, and more carefree. It's Sonic after all, so 1998 was a good year for the blue blur.

I think I prefer the post-Adventure Sonic as it gave him a bit more character. It would be cool to see a game using the old-school look though, other than Sonic Chronicles.

Probably old style. He looks like a smug dick either way, but the the older style has a sort of... Disney charm to it... that is before Disney sucked.

There's a slight push toward the original, but the other one's cool.

They're both awesome in their own ways but overall I'd say I prefer the newer model. Although old Sonic is classic and memorable.

I prefer post-adventure Sonic, not only because i first knew in SA2, also, he looks with more personality, and cooler.

The old-school is something that one must not forget, because he always reminds me of Sonic 1,2,3, Knuckles, and my favorites "Adventures of Sonic the hedgehog".

I like that kinda middle ground, 1997 Sonic. Where he has longer legs and stuff, but doesn't have the real long spikes or green eyes yet. I dig all the designs but that one was my fave.
