I have played a multitude of craptastic games and I want to see the worst game(s) you have ever played. All genres and all systems, including online games, are welcome

worst game I have ever played was Sonic The Hedgehog 360

I don't know. I find games either fun or unfun. I could count many games I found unfun but don't have some arithmetic scale deciding by how much.

If pressed to pick one though, a game called Revolution X seems quite shockingly poor; awful, bitty graphics, a difficulty curve to challenge a jedi and, worst of all, is about Aerosmith - a permed Steven Tyler strutting about in leather trousers isn't something anyone should be subject to. Hell on a disc.

That is a tough question! It has to be star wars: rebel assult for the mega CD. The controlls are so shit you can't help but crash into stuff which is epic fail in my book!XD

Lego Batman on DS. Words cannot even begin to describe that crap, and I often wonder how I played it for an hour. Needless to say I didn't pick it up again and got rid of it the following week.

Hands fucking down. >_<

It's the worst game that I picked for 30€. Glitches (favorite one is when Knuckles/Rouge fly onto a corner and SUPER SPEED UP! *cough*), bad storyline and bad shading...on the PS3 version at ALL resolutions (Including 1080p).

Second worst is probably a tie between Shadow and well, nothing else. (LEGO Indiana Jones IS good, I just thought it was bad because of some parts I played. But I played further and changed my opinion. So, basically putting: Double dose of terrible pain with '06 and Shadow is like going to puke every minute. >_<)

it's frame rate was slow as hell, the graphics sucked and the handling was aweful.

I'm sure I've played worse, but very recently I played the new Turok.

I should have known better. I really should have.

I just don't know how you can screw up a game about shooting dinosaurs. It's apparently very easy.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Sweet 16: License to Drive (or some other cal, idk) for Gamecube. Crappy Mario Party wannabe. I only played it as a joke. It was my friend's sister's, but then they gave it to me as a joke. It does a better job at being a coaster than a game. Crappy graphics, glitches, and most importantly: not fun. The minigames were total BS; some of which I thought were impossible.

You actualy can't blame the game for that. Rumour has it that they ran out of funding for the game, and just released what they had.

I thought it was pretty good myself.

Inicially, I thought it was bad because I thought it was boring at first, but after I played further, I changed my opinion. It's really entertaining and really better for a game without being Star Wars-focused. (And note: I only got the game 3 days ago. XD)

Terminator 2 on SNES by LJN. Not the arcade shooter one but the side scroll game. The controls were just terrible and the jump might as well have not existed. The driving stage is about the most frustrating thing I've ever encountered in my life.

Why? Vice City and San Andreas are vastly superiour games. Unless by GTA3 you mean the GTA3 Trilogy (yes I class them as a trilogy) which then I can agree because GTA: Mah Chazan was terrible.

Defender of the Crown on the NES, the whole game seems to have been designed by a couple of blindfolded chimpanzees. The visuals are poor even for the NES, sound is almost non-existant and animation is worse than even the worst Spectrum games could manage. As for the gameplay, raids consist of poking your "sword" (it looks like a little stick) into a bunch of enemies, you can't block or dodge and collision detection is woeful so you can never complete one. Jousts are also useless as you can't ever win even if you aim at the other guys head, and fights consist of spamming attack rapidly while watching the arthritic characters barely move. As for the "strategy" part, it's virtually pointless, you'll fail even if you cheat.

You don't know my experience with it.

I really enjoyed the Super Mario RPG, but because I hate mario, I wasn't expecting much :P it's amazing what hype can do to kill a game.

Ultraman was one of the first third party games released for the SNES back in 1991. And yeah the game is awful but compare to Rise of the Robots, Rise is SHIT. At least Ultraman can do a special move while the other can't. The blue robot only has like 4 or 5 moves (just like like UltramanXD) . You expect something better (it was released in 1994) only the graphics look good but still the game still sucks.

No if anything it's exactly the opposite. It's a shame the game that's in there somewhere is really good, as shown by Metal Gear Online. But a game should never be 90% cutscenes 5% install/loading 5% gameplay, especially when the cutscenes aren't even telling a good story.

Anyway I wasn't even being serious with MGS4, it's bad but it's not the worst game I've played (though it is the second worst PS3 game I've played).

I was a huge fan of the Turok series on Nintendo 64 and this game was just awful. The game looked like it was made in a week using Blitz Basic and the music and sound effects were supplied by a drunken cowboy.

The story was terrible and the gameplay would often break when using cheats.

Not even close, XII tried to change up gameplay abit and while not all of it was succesful the License Board at least was decent. The story was pretty good, when it decided to show up between massive periods of flat out being none existent, the characters were all pretty likable except Vaan and Penelo, the voice acting was much better, and the game wasn't completely linear till near the end unlike X, and a much better world.

VII had better music, better battle system, and a better mechanic. Also it had an overworld.

Okay okay i get it.
XII i'll admit was nice start to change how normally FF was, and the music was great.
Characters were OK (Basch reminds me of Riot :))
It just got way too easy way too early for me.
As soon as i got quickenings, it was easy sailing.
It was the first FF i almost nodded off to.
Gambit system really made me lose interest.
Sure there were some bosses that really got me excited(One near Fran's homeland comes to mind, and Zeromus), but most were too easy to do.
Even the end boss was a cinch.Mind you, i have nothing really bad against that system.Just that it's really putting off when i don't make split-second decisions and i know everything's going to plan.

And the only reason why I say i don't like VII is because i've played VIII before that, So everything was pretty much the same.
You know that feeling when somebody tells you so much about the game you think it's really great and when you go finally buy it you get disappointed.
Clearly the over-hype killed it for me.
And @nami: You didn't like it either, so there

Beat'n Groovy for XBLA. Do not want. The main thing that bothers me is that the notes fall through the bar. And the lack of difficulty settings.

I just played a Sonic the Hedgehog ROM for the ZSNES emulator. Obviously a ROM hack - since Mario appears form time to time - and the biggest pile of 16-bit dung I've ever seen. XD

^Yeah it was definately the blast processing that did it. The snes just can't process all the blasting Sonic does.XD
Ahh I love that term, takes me back. Total bollocks weren't it really.

I miss the days where you could directly mock a competitor's product, and show it in your commercial.

You should see the car ads in the U.S:

"According to 96% of the population of Luxembourg the new Chevrolet Impala is 5,000,000 times more luxurious than the 1991 Toyota Camry. And it's made in America! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!"

Worst game I've ever played has to be Mortal Kombat:Mythologies on N64.I shudder at the thought of that mess.

Sonic the Hedgehog 360

Hereafter, I'm officially going to refer to that game as "Sonic Vista." Let's hope that STH4 proves to be the shaky-yet-acceptable lifesaver that Win7 has been. :P
