Ok this game has been chosen by Reknoc to celebrate the new ghostbusters game and the 25th year since the original ghostbusters came out.

Developed and published by sega in 1990. It had you playing as 3 of the ghostbusters. ( Strangely absent is Ernie hudson. I can only assume it's because sega didn't like the added "colour" he brought to the group).
Also here's a nice little review and screenshots from the game.

Also worth checking out is the master system game. It's ace's

Fantastic game, I remember when my friend picked this up (he was the Mega Drive owner and I had a SNES). Loved the game, but could never get past any of the levels.

Actually played this alittle last night after being a tad annoyed at Terminal Reality's screw up with the new game. Still can't complete a level.

I never played this version to be honest till years later on an emu. It seemed ok but i've only give it a brief whizz around on the first level. Im gonna give this a go though over the weekend while wearing a birthday party hat.

I can't remember this one. The only Ghostbusters game I recall playing was the Master System one. It had absolutely nothing to do with the film, but I did enjoy it.

And shush about the new one, it's good :(

Didn't really enjoy much of what I played of it.

I feel it was a decent platformer for it's day.

I gave this a go the other weekend. About as good as I remember really. Not too bad but nothing special for me, I never had it back in the day though so I don't have that sort of appreciation for it. You've reminded me, Someone needs to suggest another title for the Retro club.
