Assuming of course you're not listening to RadioSEGA (in which case it's pretty obvious what you'll be listening to, won't it?), what are you currently listening to?

For me, right now it's:

Hard-Fi - Feltham is Singing Out
Album - Stars of CCTV

Dr Shaneman
23-12-2007, 22:33
Kind of normal of me.
Puyo Pop Fever - Taisen 1
Sound Reaper would know how obvious that is.

From the film obviously because it's awesome.

Obviously what else would you be listening to? RadioSEGA! The only radio station that has all of the SEGA Classics! (Except Shadow the Hedgehog, that game can rot in hell =) )

Dr. Ivo Robotnik

E.G.G.M.A.N - Sonic Adventure 2/ Sonic Adventure 2 Battle

Quite the obvious thing, need I say more?

Gavvie
02-01-2008, 21:43
^ I quite like the remix of that from Shadow the Hedgehog, though the original's better, mainly because it's longer.

Anywho, I'm listening to:

Go Katsuura, Toshinori Miura - Growing Wings (Peak Power From After Hour Climax)
Album - A NiGHTS Remix: Another Dreams

Dr. Ivo Robotnik
02-01-2008, 21:46
I'd say that if they made the remixed version from STH longer or a more technofied version, I'd think I'd end up having that too on my I-pod.

Puyo Pop Fever - Taisen 1. Please don't kill me Sound Reaper haha!

Dr. Ivo Robotnik

OH! But I have better than an I-pod!

Introducing the one and only...EGG-POD!

*holds out a red and orange, egg-shaped MP3 player with the Eggman Logo on it*

It holds up to 1,000,000,000 music files!

Heh...I'm going for a new record. I'll listen to this song all day!

Lol, that's me when I went to see Muse at Wembley Stadium. It's a bit shaky because my girlfriend was sitting next to me and wouldn't stay still. :p

NO WAY! You went to that gig!? How was it? Wish I could have gone. :(

Gavvie
02-01-2008, 22:17
It was awesome, best gig I've ever been to. I wasn't on the ground, which kinda sucked, but I still had an awesome view from the seat I was in.

I went to a Blue Man Group concert that was in Boloxi, Mississippi a couple months ago. (Yes, I like the band, if anyone thinks I'm crazy). I need to get the album out of my closet and listen to it again...

Aww :( It has potential for discussion, even if it is a bit limited. That said, on the forums where this thread has been done, they've had bigger communities so it hasn't been as bad.

Still, it's giving forum members a chance to find out what kinda music other members listen to, other than the Sega love that brought us all here in the first place.

That said, at the end of the day it's obviously a staff decision as to whether the thread stays open or not, I just thought I'd kinda explain why I felt it might've worked here.

Sorry if I'm sounding a bit argumentative, it's not intended.

I'm listening to quite a lot of things these days.

=> Spiritual Spellers and some other albums from dBu on the Touhou side...
=> Some very good trance music found on the NewGrounds audio portal - what's cool here is that you can get in touch with the artists, and they always answer.
=> As always RadioSega or, when night falls, another webradio known as Digitally Imported
=> Or else I can also drop by on Deezer and throw my rock playlist. Shadid, you'd be in love with that playlist, I think. (Reference inside hehe)

Apparently: Die Waffen – legt an! Which roughly translates into "Bring rifles to fighting position!"

Also:

Recently, the original "Hell March" has been used in television, for the second episode of series 12 of popular BBC show Top Gear.

Rad.

I'm currently listening to a band called Hollywood Undead, an album called Swan Songs.

I've never heard of it, I don't think its currently had a release in the UK :/ either way, its really, really good!

Its rap metal, there's a lot of unnecessary swearing and the stuff they wear is laughable. However the music is actually very good. I recommend to rock fans :3

You can rip the whole thing off of the playstation disk. They put it like that as an easter egg, apparently. I'm leaving the smaller file size WMA VBR rips on my Clip, since I use that everywhere, and have less space, but I wanted better on the Fuze without just putting the monster FLAC files on it....and the Q7 is a really nice compromise between sound and size, I think.

I've left my media player on shuffle. An Apocolyptica song I'd barely noticed I liked came on - Toreador II.
Unfortunately, "air cello-ing" feels kinda wrong.

Followed, however, by Don't Stop Me Now (and if you don't know who that's by you're either under 7 or need to be hit with a lead pipe). Time for a sing along.

I'm getting into Coheed and Cambria. Listening to Welcome Home at the moment.

EDIT: Also getting into The Who. Keith Moon = awesome.

I put everything with a playcount above 50 in a playlist, and atm I have Hundred Reasons - Falter. I can't remember the last time I even listened to most of this stuff. It's funny how my taste in music changes.

Everyone seems to be listening to 80s music now.

Anyway, Dare was produced by Martin Rushent, who turned them from the rag tag bunch of wannabees they were after the initial split from the original HL into something resembleing a professional band. He was then sacked when Oakey went mad with power after the Human League's success and they never made a decent album after that.

Well, Octopus was alright but still no-where near the first three albums.

That's interesting to know, I'll need to get the first two albums now! I've had a soft spot for 80's music since I was about 11.:P

I'm feeling a bit retro myself... Listening to The Cure: Greatest Hits. :)

I, however, am not feeling retro. I'm listening to the "metal" version of One Winged Angel.

The Katamari Forever soundtrack. Surely there's no better way to get excited about a game than by listening to it's soundtrack?

Playing one of the earlier games is better. That's what I'm doing with Uncharted.
