View Full Version : How did you find RadioSEGA and why you joined?
Since I'm new here and I didn't see a thread about this, I wanted to know how did you find RadioSEGA (told by a friend, saw it on a magazine...) and why did you join the forum?
My story began (started with a dramatic accent ) when I was browsing on the Internet Radio of the PSP and what was on? Sonic 2 - Final Boss. It was marvelous. I joined the forum because I wanted to know who was the other side of RadioSEGA:).

I was browsing google looking for an internet radio station as SSR was really getting crappy, and I came across this site. Thought it looked good so I started listening and liked the quality of the music they had so I joined the forum to get to know how the place was run more. Had no idea I would end up as part of the staff.

I was browsing some thread on SSMB (Sonic Stadium Message Boards) and came across a link in someone's signature. I was hooked ever since. And, man, has this place changed since I first joined. It's been great to see it grow!

I was a member of the Sonic Stadium Message Boards (SSMB) where I met a few members from here. To be honest, I had never heard of the board / site until Kool Chao introduced me.
I found it looking for music then signed up for soundtrack downloads (discontinued '08). I wouldn't have been an active member but decided to post in the "I'm New Thread". Rest is downhill.
I think Gavvie found it on his PSP or something then linked me to it, then I decided to join up so I could request. Then I thought since I'm here might aswell post in the forum. So yea you can blame Gavvie for my being here.

My story is pretty indentical, except I use Yahoo! I listen to the music for a few months before I started posting on the forums.
I joined mainly for the music to start with and the ability to request songs I like. Eventually that grew into posting on forums and making friends.

Yeah, besides I was stunned by the very members who used Google to find RadioSEGA! At least they found.

For the first time, I thought that you would respond ASAP when you saw the reply. That teaches us all on how to read tons of replies before replying on the one that is talking about yourselfs... Besides, we always don't have words to describe them.:) By the way, you haven't told us how did you find RadioSEGA and why did you join the forums... But it doesn't matter.

I honestly forgot about how I came across this site........until now.
I believe VGLAN mentioned it before and I pretty much got into their concept and apreciated their efforts of having a high quality Sega radio station.
Afterwards, I offered my SOR3 gamerip, but didn't get added until I got closer to becomming a Playlist Manager. That's pretty much my beginning in a nutshell.
Let's see... About a year ago I started looking for a web radio with game music to listen to while working at school. Found this place and I liked it. Took a while before I joined the forum, but I'm glad I did.

Well, I found it when I was swearing at Galbadia Hotel's horrible download rate ("GODDAMMNIT 50 KB/s !!"). I came here primarily for the OSTs ("Wow, 120 KB/s!"), and got some of DU2001 before the takedown. I had a long break then ("Daytona USA Universe!"), and came back recently for great justice, for two reasons: Black_Jack is here too and he's a friend of mine, and because I just can't go away from such a nice community. Thanks RadioSEGA, you're my new home now. ^______^
...and yes, my internet connection sucks. It's a 1024k DSL connection, but at least it's via router.

Perhaps we have definitive proof that the rumours surrounding Kim Jong-il are false? This could be evidence that he's still alive and kicking. And he's a Sega fan.
You'd think that someone labelled as "Evil" would be more of an Apple fan when it came to technology.
