As much as I dislike the the X-Factor, I detest that song almost as much: I have never found it to be funny and it was done to death when that Family Guy episode was first shown. It belongs in the past along with Chuck Norris jokes and the phrase "The cake is a lie!" I prey that it's not the song that the public latch onto this year.Shockerbey wrote:what song would u like to beat xfactor to number. for me its the ba ba ba bird bird bird bird is the word, anyone heard anyothers
Gotta agree with Kaito.
I'm not bothered about the Christmas number 1 though. I don't follow the music charts and I've never bought a Christmas #1, not even when people were bugging me about it last year, or the year before. If we, as a society, can pool together our creative energies to get a song popular, then why can't we use those energies for something more important?

I'm backing the Surfin' Bird song for one reason - it's amusing.
Sure, it's been done to death by Family Guy (though I still chuckle when hearing the song), BUT! Christmas number 1s before the advent of LET'S FIND SOME NEW MANUFACTURED POP SHITE were always quite amusing, very novelty, and quite often crap.
Besides, I'd go for Surfin' Bird over Motley Crue, which I think is the only other Anti X-Factor that seems to be picking up steam.
