Default What's your favorite TV Show or Cartoon intro?

All cartoons or shows have an opening. Some suck as hell and some are just awsome for different reasons. Sometimes it's the opening music which makes it awsome and sometimes it's just the cinamatics.
Here are some of my favorties:
I really like the 1st intro of Naruto Shippuden. The Song and the Cinamatic fit perfectly and it is just awsome!

And this is the full version of song which is practicly a song and is just awsome!

I king of like the intro for Sonic Underground too. Again, the music inspires me. Ofcaurse as I said, it's not always the music that makes intros awsome.

Yeah, thats all I can remember for now. Now it's your turn.

I knew you would post that one. Good Rekky.

We can't have this thread without this opening song.

Oh yes. Now I feel bad about focusing on cartoons.

The Doctor Who opening theme of course!

And here you can see it in all its iterations: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6J_3rsEwYVE

It's the iconic main theme music which does it for me, but my favourite is definitely the new series with Matt Smith.

I knew I was forgetting something.

Edit: My tv choices seem pretty telling of the sort of stuff I watch looking at it.

Some of the more iconic openings that I remember include Cheers, Diagnosis Murder, Promised Land (spinoff of Touched by an Angel), and Early Edition. Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (US) had a memorable opening sequence in 2000-2001 as well.

My favorite current show openings (I don't watch almost any of these shows, but I do like their openings) are Hannah Montana, Dirty Jobs, and The Simpsons. Nice contrast, huh?

I also like how the end of the current opening for PBS reality show FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman pulls a page from Garfield & Friends with a different quote at the end every time.

Because I don't watch TV very much I can't say very much... Maybe The Simpsons since that is the only thing I can think of right now...
