    Default SEGA seeks Chinese Expansion

The arcade is where the heart and soul of video games lie if you ask me and China is where the body of most of our games comes from (Hello Foxcom!) so it's only right that the two should be starting to come together at last. According to a recent Kotaku article SEGA is looking to expand into the growing arcade market in China.

Thoughts? Do you think the Chinese will love being able to play locaqlized version of Outrun, Virtua Fighter and After Burner?

I thought this was going to be about more plug and play Wii looking megadrive things.

If SEGA thinks they can make a profit over there, go for it.
Im sure the Chinese will love all of SEGA's arcade games, i still think SEGA makes some of the best out there.

I don't think it would hurt, although I'm not that familiar with the Chinese gaming market.

Since China is rapidly expanding into the world of consumerism, it makes perfect sense for loads of companies to get into the Chinese market.

There is more disposable income there now, so I'm sure that arcades will go down a treat. And who honestly does arcade better than Sega, no one. Good luck to them.

You never know, if they do well Sega might get one genuine cabinet into an arcade for every million knock offs.

I don't know why but I just dislike Chinese. No offence to Chinese but I just dislike their market.

This is a smart move as long as China's economics is blooming as it is now.
