Saving Halloween with Costumes!
Story: It’s Halloween night, and two twins are new to the neighborhood. The mom suggests that they use their trick-or-treating time to make friends around the neighborhood. Here you can pick which twin to play as, Renyold the boy or Wren the girl. Once you pick a twin, they'll dress up in a cool costume while the other one will dress up as a piece of candy. The twin you pick will make fun of them as they trick-or-treat. The twins start trick or treating until a monster at one of the houses kidnaps the other twin and takes him/her away! You try to stop him but a nasty witch named Dorsilla takes away your costume and your brother/sister. Now it's up to you to get your costume back and save Halloween with costumes, candy and friends!

Fun, but Repetitive
Gameplay: The game is an action RPG. You play as the twin you picked in the beginning.
There are 3 areas all together. In these areas, you can run around and do quests, trick or treat or find materials you need for costumes. There are a few quests that stay the same in each area such as hide n seek or bobbing for apples.
In order to get closer to the boss in each area, you must trick or treat at all the houses in the area. Some houses, there will be adults that will get you candy. Other houses, there will be a monster wanting to battle.
Here's where the battle mechanic comes in to play. In battle, whatever costume you are wearing, is your weapon. Example: in a robot costume, you will have missiles and such. It's all turn based. So your characters will have turns, and so will the enemies. It's simple, but you will battle a lot. Trust me it will get pretty old.

Cartoony and Adorable
Graphics: The graphics are done in a cel-shaded matter. It’s as if someone’s cartoon drawings came to life. The characters are well designed and cute. The kid’s costumes are adorable too. Everything just looks so cool in this game.

Not a Lot of Tracks
Music: There isn't a whole lot of music in this game. There is a theme for each area, battle music and victory music. It’s pretty good. Oh and there’s a track in the game that might sound familiar to you if you've played Double Fine’s classic, Psychonauts.

Trick-or-Treat?
Overall:Costume Quest is a solid and fun game. It's cute, it's funny, but somewhat repetitive. All the battles get old after a while. And so do the quests. But the game is short so you might breeze by the game. But enjoy this treat!
